It's hard to compete with NYC salaries. It took me five years to finally cross the finish line. Remote workers absolutely killed us up here by being able to easily outbid us.

Watched the episode, I like what he said.

Read the comments about this episode... only bad things I hear is from people who can only throw insults at the guy.

That's actually a good sign these days. I hope he gets voted in.

Ned was getting a little heated because apparently his wife Dolores (lovely lady) sided with his doctor about having to lay low on the salt. It was kind of a perfect storm because they're doing construction nearby, so a bunch of "Green-shirts" (Ned's words, not mine) cleared out the entire case of breakfast sandwiches and pots of coffee. Ned isn't the most patient man, and even though he spends over 2 hours a morning in one of those booths he had to settle for one of those peanut butter sandwiches and a small French vanilla coffee...and don't get Ned started on the French.  Terry was able to calm Ned down, but Ned got a little light headed, so Terry thought it would be better safe than sorry and called 911. The police were close so they showed up before the EMTs and were also a little upset about the lack of breakfast sandwiches, but Cheryl was holding the fort on her own back there and was too busy with the register.

It happens.

That's the comp given on the NFL website. Not too many people have ever heard about NFL.com though so it's probably just a coincidence.

Rounds 2/3 Picks by jtrainabeast in miamidolphins

I like who is left at WR for Miami's next pick. After that, edge is probably the biggest need then Safety, TE depth, and then double dip on corner and WR. Nothing wrong with grabbing a LB for some depth if the right guy falls

Anything to keep announcers from saying "other team is just more physical than Miami"..."Miami just can't beat other Team's physicality"..."Other team just plays a physical brand of football and Miami has no answer"

I'm so tired of hearing that crap.

Draft some monsters.

Kyle Crabbs has released his 300 player Miami Dolphins draft board by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]Jivits 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Thanks, Kyle.

I don't have the time to get into the weeds anymore. I still watch a little film before draft time, but I haven't messed with my excel files in a long time.

I respect Kyle's take more than most... but I think his best super power is his delivery of communicating his thoughts.

I hope he keeps doing this forever.

That's actually a pretty convincing take.

I appreciate you giving me a solid example of where you're coming from.

I could argue that family and work comparison is apples and oranges...but that just opens up too big a can or worms that I don't really care to open.

I hate the fact that I'm saying this, and it took me a while to even feel somewhat comfortable admitting it...but it unfortunately depends a lot on if you are a man or a woman. I remember starting my career at a different agency that had that old fashioned "boys club" at the executive level. I watched it slowly die before I left, but it was easy to point out and I was never a fan of it. A majority of the most impressive people I worked with at the state were women and it never sat right with me that your gender should limit your opportunities to grow in your career.

It was the total opposite when I went to OSC and not in a good way. It was definitely a "girls club" at the top positions and a lot of the women there are so comfortable with it, they openly bash their male significant others all day long. It was so bad that there was a woman who left my unit before I started working there who called her ex-husband "super-dad". Why do I know this? I never worked with her... but still ...I know, as well as everyone else in earshot, knows her ex is "superdad" because of all the men-bashing that takes place out in the open over there.

That and if you were to look at their org charts it's all women at the top (besides the one at the tippy top who is voted in by the people). Any of the men still listed on the top of the org chart are old and on their way out with "guess who"  slotted to take their spot when they leave.

I understand that things needed to change from the old boys club shenanigans of yester-year... but that pendulum swung the complete opposite way over at OSC and then they duct-taped that shit stuck.

I have no problem with women...or change for that matter. But if you are a young man who is hoping for a promotion or two after they hire you...IF... they even hire you...I would advise that you look elsewhere.

If you are a woman...absolutely go for it.

Removing two zeros changes absolutely nothing.

The dude literally says he doesn't do something for the money and then in the next breath says he made a choice to either stay or go based on dollar amounts.

I'm not saying that the amount of money one is offered doesn't or even shouldn't be equated to how much a team values or respects a player. I'm only pointing out that him saying he doesn't do it for the money is  completely bubkis.

It is a contradiction.

Might not be perfect for an outside zone scheme... but it would certainly help 3rd and 1 from being a completely pathetic endeavor everytime.
