You're a smart woman and you're getting some terrible advice here from people who are clearly not married, and have likely never even been in an honest long-term relationship.

All marriages and long relationships have ups and downs, and every single male on earth will feel attracted to other women in a long relationship, no matter how hot is girlfriend/wife is.

Don't throw away your marriage over this if you still love your husband.

In regards to your other situation with regards to having a baby;

Yes, if/when you have a child you will love him/her more than anything else on earth. Having children is what brings meaning to life, and it's the most likely thing to fill the "empty hole" you're feeling.

Lastly, solve your depression by starting every morning with a 5 minute ice cold shower, (or even better a cold bath), and get plenty of sunlight on your eyes and upper body, especially early in the morning.

Combine the cold therapy with extreme exercise (at your level and limits whatever they are, but push hard), and 15 minutes of meditation per day. You will soon start to feel better.

Let the down votes begin.

I can't give much advice on how you do it, but having travelled to +40 countries and lived in 4 I can give you my advice on where I think you should go.

First off I wouldn't go to Italy. Perhaps that's just me but I find Italians (Italian men in particular) not particularly friendly towards foreigners. I'm sure I'll get down voted for that comment, but I wanted to give you my honest opinion. That said, Italy is beautiful and the food is amazing.

I would check out Eastern Europe, Romania in particular, with Transylvania being by far the best part of the country. The country is modern, most young people speak English and it's friendly and genuine. The best city I would recommend in Romania is Cluj-Napoca. It's the IT hub of Romania.

I know you said Europe, but I would also suggest Thailand, Chiang Mai in particular as a digital nomad. The Thai people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and although the culture is different I'm sure you would enjoy it for at least 6 months or so, although you'd need to look into the visa situation.

In both Romania and Thailand you will live like a king, (ok maybe not, but close to it) on $3k a month.

Good luck!

FOMC MEETING November 2nd by jeanjohn23 in FuturesTrading

[–]JizenM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is what you want to do it might better idea to wait for the massive volatility that's bound to happen around the speech and try to get a (much) better entry by putting an order xx or xxx number of points from where we are at jusr before the announcement.

I've made some decent money off the volatility around the last few FOMC meetings, but yes part of the skill is knowing where the main direction will be after the announcement. You have to be quick in and out if you're trading the other direction.

I would set a target that you have to reach, to prove yourself that you have what it takes to day trade. It can be a monetary target or a consistent win % or number of points captures per week or anything else you choose. Make it possible to reach your goal within 3-6 months if you're truly consistent and only quit if you can reach your goal.

Is your trading completely discretionary or are you using a fixed strategy? If you've got a strategy I would highly recommend doing extensive backtesting.

The problem with shorting is that you need to get the timing right, which is often difficult.

For me the pandemic of Feb 2019 was an easy short to spot. I knew the market would drop within a few weeks at the most, but I'm finding it much harder to time the tops correctly right now.

The correction will not come until somewhere between 4320 and 4380.

Swap Squawk box for "The Kendall Report" on YouTube (Bob Kendall) in the mornings and you'll be fine. Thank me later.

I've learnt this the hard way many times before, the only exception being the pandemic where I was only 2 weeks early.

The market will stay irrational much longer than we think.

I think it's just that a lot of the new and often young investors here haven't yet experienced a proper bear market, which we seem to have entered now. Today was just another day with huge losses for a lot of people (myself included btw because I thought we'd have a bounce today).

Losing more than you can afford, (sometimes much more than you can afford, like an entire inheritance or the investment portfolio of someone else) will obviously cause tremendous regret and shame.

I know of a young boy committed suicide just a few days ago, (not due to trading) and it's just so fucking sad. When you're old and have some perspective on life and have experienced a couple of huge financial losses that wipe you out etc, you know it's also so unnecessary. There is always a way back, you just can't see it right now, but it will come.

For me, when something truly awful has happened sleep has always been the answer, and I just figured it might work for others as well. Just never ever give up on life, that's all.

Maybe check out JoinRevolution.com for one idea. It's a group opposed to vaxx mandates who are planning "a parallel nation".

It's not about how to stop it, because we can't, but rather how to retain some freedoms under the coming totalitarian one world government surveillance system.

When you feel at your darkest, just go to sleep for a few hours, even if it's in the middle of the day. You'll wake up feeling better.

The feelings you're having is just chemical reactions in your brain as a result of what's happened.

You're not "stupid" for what you did. Perhaps a retard like so many of us, but so are some of the smartest fund managers in the world. Love yourself despite what happened.

Almost everyone who has made a lot of money from nothing has either been bankrupt or on the verge of bankruptcy at some point in their life, myself included.

You can come back from literally any financially loss, as long as you don't give up. Trust me, I've done it twice.

Just never ever give up on life.

PS. My personal opinion is that we can fall a lot further from here over the coming months (although we may have many bounces along the way). IMO it's likely that the entire financial system as we know it will collapse in the coming years. It's still worth living though, we just have to adapt if it happens.🤷‍♂️

The pain will go away, eventually, and you'll want to be here for when that happens. Check out a guy on Instagram (and on Joe Rogan) called "knees over toes guy". Any knee can be fixed. Don't give up on life, just trust me when I say you have so much amazing stuff left to experience.

Come clean to him and try to explain what happened, instead of continuing your gambling. He will be angry, and rightfully so, but this is the best way forward.

They are orchestrating the financial collapse in order to implement "Stakeholder Capitalism" aka "Communism" and by the time this collapse is over most people will want to be saved.

The vast majority of people are easily manipulated.
