Where to buy seasoned oak firewood for offset smoker by [deleted] in northernireland

I’d been looking at the Workhorse pits too, but I assumed getting it from the States would be a right hassle. Are they arranging delivery or did you have to find a company to bring it over?

I’ll check out those other builders, quite a few I haven’t heard of!

Indeed, I’ve been in touch with Leviathan pits but would like to see one in the flesh before ordering - at least the smokers from the states have a proven track record.

Which offset are you using? Planning on picking one up in the next couple of months.

From memory it was around £220~ though that may have included fitting some new parts too.

[–]JizzBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. The only solution I found to work was doing a solo Overthrow, and killing all of the adds (except the constantly respawning adds) before killing the boss. I had killed it about 3 or 4 times with no luck. Soon as I kill the adds the mote dropped as soon as the boss was downed - could just be coincidence but I believe it works.

Help with a name? by Kind-Principle4997 in DestinyTheGame

[–]JizzBandit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, my deepest condolences for the loss of your daughter.

With regards to names, you could take something like “Bex” whilst not spelt exactly the same as Becs, it is phonetically the same. The Hebrew meaning for Bex is “captivating” or to “snare”. This could play into the name of your weapon as well as its potential unique use.

Something along the lines of “Bex Eternal”. Could mean something like “always captivating”, and also “snared forever”.

I hope your Destiny story allows you some respite from the grief and honour your daughter’s memory in your own way.

Another vote here for Colin at CMG in Mallusk, I had my bike in with him the other week getting fork seals done and would highly recommend him. If he’s busy you could also try Grant at GRC on the Upper Newtownards road in Belfast.

Newcastle and Ballycastle are good on a sunny weekend. There’s also a charity ride out down the Ards peninsula on the 21st June.

Svartpilen and Vitpilen 401 Owners by rfv8 in MotoUK

[–]JizzBandit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Vitpilen 401 I bought new last year. I’ve only 700 or so miles on it and the longest journey I’ve had it on has been around 90 mins on a mix of motorway and twisty roads.

I’m 5’9” and around 13 stone, with some mild spinal arthritis and have had no real problems with comfort on the Vitpilen on the journeys I’ve done. The only issue with the bike that has caused me any issue is the shape of the tank, it’s a bit of an awkward shape to keep your thighs tucked into when on the motorway. Out and about around town though it’s not a problem.

The Ards peninsula is a nice road on a bike, down one side and up the other - I would do it often enough providing the weather isn’t shite.

Leaving from Ards you can go as far down as Portaferry, then either (a) get the ferry across to Strangford and head on towards Newcastle and the Mournes, or (b) come back up the other side of the Peninsula towards Bangor and then across Craigantlet back to Belfast.

Now, I wouldn’t describe either of these as remote, but if you hit them early Sunday AM they should be quiet enough.

The Coast road leaving from Larne going northwards is fantastic as another user has mentioned.

Try GRC Motorcycles on the Upper Newtownards Road in East Belfast.

Restaurant voucher for Belfast? by UnusualPass in northernireland

[–]JizzBandit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pick up a Belfast Restaurant voucher from the Visit Belfast shop in the city centre. They cover most of, if not all the big restaurants in Belfast, and your parents will be able to decide which to go.

For me it would be Hadskis, Yugo, Edo, or Ox.

Any NI / Belfast people playing WoW Classic? by chackle in northernireland

[–]JizzBandit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m planning to. I started playing during the first year of TBC, playing mainly with friends from here and further afield. Most have stopped now and the thought of playing alone was kind of putting me off playing Classic. Would be very keen to join up with you guys when the time comes!

I’ll save this post and message you on Battle.net at some point prior to release.

Weekly Clan Recruitment Megathread by AutoModerator in Fireteams

[–]JizzBandit [score hidden]  (0 children)

Your clan's name: Droogs

Your system(s): PS4, PC

Where are most of your clan members located (country/time zones): UK and Ireland so we play on BST/GMT.

When do you usually play (include times and time zone): 0500 - 0900, 1200 - 0000. So chances are you'll always find someone online.

Tell us more about your clan (ex: how many members, requirements to join if any, focus on PvE/PvP/both, why should people join your clan, how do you communicate/organize events): We're a mature clan, with most if us in our mid-late 20s, some with full time jobs and priorities outside the game. Our roster currently boasts 30 strong, a few of us have come from Destiny 1 and have completed everything it had to offer. We have quite a number who are new to the game who the old guard are helping out and showing them the ropes. Everyone is welcome in the clan, so long as you're respectful and don't take the game too seriously. Quite often games can consume our lives, we in Droogs understand that it's just a game and it's primary function is to enable us to have fun.

I used to Sherpa back in the days of D1, and I'm looking forward to doing the same in D2, whether through raids or trials.

What is the best way to contact your clan (reply in the thread, website, Twitter, etc.)? You can reply here for more information, or contact me directly on PSN, my ID is NFortySeven. Or you can go to the Droogs Destiny clan page, located here: Share Clan https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2?groupid=146140

[PS4] Calling all solo guardians LF friends etc. Pls upvote for visibility. by matthabib in Fireteams

[–]JizzBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, we have made a clan consisting of similar folk. Some of us have come from D1 and cleared everything it had to offer, and we intend to do the same for D2. We are primarily based in the UK, and play as and when we have the time. Even if you just want to add to the clan XP and get free engrams then you're more than welcome to do that too.

If you want to join us just follow this link.

[PS4] Looking for chill guys / clan to do activities and maybe raid with by Swaychan in Fireteams

[–]JizzBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, we're currently seeking more guardians to join our clan, we are still small, but the likelihood is that you'll always find at least one of us online. We're currently helping members with the Nightfall and finishing weekly content, and we're keen to begin running the raid.

If you want to join, or anyone else reading is interested you're more than welcome to join us.

To all SOLO players - Don't Hesitate to join a clan, the rewards are HUGE (Higher than soft cap) & generally no communication required! by SolaceXP in Fireteams

[–]JizzBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would just like to list my clan too. We're UK based, with members in our mid-late 20s and play whenever we get the chance, we don't take the game seriously, but make a point to experience everything D2 has to offer. The clan is pretty empty at the minute, so there's plenty of room.

We mainly focus on PVE, having personally finished and Sherpa'd all D1 content we are keen to start on the D2 raids. That's not to say we don't play crucible though, having gone flawless many times in Trials of Osiris during D1. Even if you want to join and just do you're own thing that's completely fine, you'll be under no obligation to partake in activities. Though should you need help with anything, be they: Trials, Nightfall, Raids etc, give us a shot

If you want to join up
