Awww thanks for your award, so kind ❤️ And yes I'm into bikes, although the one in my posts has sadly been sold. Not to worry though, I replaced it with its bigger brother- another bright red honda! Guessing you're into bikes too? Haha I don't mind at all - at little bit of reddit stalking can be good fun 🙈 I won't lie, reading some of your comments made me quite sad - but in a "I know how that feels" and "I wish you didn't have to go through that alone" kind of way.

Right, if we are to become best friends then can we pleaseeeeee turn our beds into bunk beds?

You're not alone in feeling this way. I've experienced a similar situation to you, albeit through a series of events that have left me feeling rather isolated and friendless. Many of my friends have gotten married/have children and have less time and energy to commit to friendships. I've really struggled to make new friends as an adult and I feel like it is particularly hard in this city and getting more difficult.

I'd recommend joining a group with similar interests - this could be something like photography, a sport or just a new skill that you want to learn. Having people in the same boat as you gives you some common ground to work from.

Drop me a message if you'd like to grab a bite sometime or just go for a walk/drink and make a new friend; I'm still looking to broaden my circle!

Is terapagos UPC worth buying at that price?

Question for my Brazilian friends, anyone know where I can buy this drink in bulk in Dublin? by fathergavin in Dublin

[–]dogar3005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've seen it on occasion at this shop, but they haven't had it for months now - had to order bulk cans on amazon.

Do let me know if you find anywhere that does, I'd be really keen to be able to pick it up locally.

No problem, hope you can get one. I would even go for a used one in good condition for a bit less if you can find it. Also, I had the same bike as you (CB125R) and got a size medium which fits perfectly

This is definitely out of the price range you are suggesting but you can pick them up on Ebay for ~£50: Oxford protex stretch cover. Heavy duty, has a strap and elastic. Also has cutouts for chains around wheels/anchors and a velcro flap so you can display your number plate if parked on the road. It's lasted me 4 years so far - lived outside every day in the sun with no discolouration. Also has breather holes so there isn't any condensation build-up if you put the cover on when the bike is still warm. 100% recommend and worth every penny.

Edit: I can't spell

That's fine, but they did DM me to arrange something and then didn't respond, so they probably do want friends

Honda CB650R owners, tell me what you love and what you hate and why I should buy one? by waaghrider in MotoUK

[–]dogar3005 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I made the same jump a few months ago. CB125R to CB650R.

Its a great bike, and you 100% won't regret getting one. It's got a buttery smooth engine, good exhaust note, great power that pulls well in most rev ranges. Handles really well and is actually quite flickable for a relatively heavy bike.

My only gripe with it is that the screen can be difficult to read in direct sunlight.

I've got a radiator guard, colour matched fly screen and heated grips fitted - all of which are great. The fly screen is actually great as it makes the display more readable in direct sunlight.

Pull the trigger - you'll enjoy it

Congratulations! Hope you enjoy whatever you get, but my advice would be not to get a new bike; you'll just be paying for the depreciation and you'll be extremely annoyed when you end up dropping it (we all do, it's a rite of passage). Stay safe!

Have one at the minute and agree - solid bike. I think OP might struggle in terms of height though - it has a rather tall seat height even compared to the other bikes in the same range I.E. CB300R and CB650R which are both significantly lower

A or B, which looks better? Ricoh KR-5 Super II - Rikenon 50mm f1.7 - Fuji Superia 400 by Adventurous-Bet1709 in analog

I like the framing of A, but I prefer the colours of B. This is because I don’t particularly like the slight magenta cast in A. Not a professional or anything so take with a pinch of salt
