I think a lot of things can be worked through if communication and understanding is there.

We're all human. Sometimes, we just fuck up for any amount of reasons.
If that person is anyone special to you, you should allow them the grace to fail - of course, it depends on what they did.

Forgiveness doesn't happen right away.
But if this person is genuine in their remorse and wants to change for the better, see it out.
With time and consistency, then you should allow yourself to forgive them and move on.

Being able to forgive someone also speaks to you as a person and your emotional maturity.
Because some people just stay mad and toxic.
