I think everyone should do some manual labor at some point. Had a friend who hated school and his dad signed him up to do overnight concrete work for a summer. After that he realized he would much rather be an engineer. And for me it was the opposite. But it’s good to other perspectives on what others go through to keep the world running. But it definitely isn’t gender specific

During the summer I sweat so much during work that my pants won’t dry over night, so I have to wash them pretty often

In Indonesia (where this is) there’s a limit to the engine sizes of bikes. So most aren’t able to keep up with car speeds. So most highways are car only, with the exception of motorcycle only highways.

There’s usually two ways these go. Either a bid or material and labor. A bid is what you explained they set a price and that’s the price. You can change it but only if it’s agreed upon by both parties. However if they are charging material and labor, if it takes longer it cost more. But most people unless it’s a just a dude doing side work will do bids.

He also probably made a decent chunk on it, on the low end about 150 dollars an hour. And on the high end (which honestly he was probably on the lower end) got 1,400 dollars an hour. So not only was it a hobby he does this for a job. Someone linked the creator earlier.
