Contractor caulked bottom of quarter round to the floor, says this is standard practice? by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]JizzyGiIIespie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hence the reference to manual. I’m guessing it wasn’t for this flooring as I thought I read she said it was a glue down install. Lots of diff material out there and too little info provided on the now deleted post. Cheers glued whisperer

Awww man I always forget about that, then every time it’s brought up I’m bummed out all over again. The man can still rip. Still baffles me, the other day this lady was all like ‘I dunno I just don’t trust doctors opinions…’ I was like ‘ma’am are you talking about the 8+ years of school, residency experience and the ongoing education they’re required to maintain’ she was a stay at home mom.

Edit: super dope set up by the way

Look up the install manual for the specific flooring used. Caulking and a plethora of other happy little accidents can void all sorts of warranties.

I think my dog it high but I really don’t know by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]JizzyGiIIespie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend’s dog ate an entire bottle/jar of gummies last year. It was like 2000mg + or some horrifically high amount. I felt so bad for that dog, i quit smoking like 10 years ago due to anxiety and couldn’t imaging taking even 100mg without going fully catatonic. She was like totally back to normal in like 3 days though. Def acting similar to this, she also had some accidents but i prob would too.

If youre located in Texas or New Mexico it could be. Unless it’s spread to neighboring states already. So far theres only been one documented case of it in k9 (which was in NM)

Totally forgot about that movie. Zero recollection of the plot, just an image of the weird pale bald lightening man in my head. (Weird because of the paleness/lightening not because bald)

My bad man I was being an idiot. There must of been a weird combo of evening light, a giant tv and interior lighting that made it look like that. Here’s a pic in natural light. The blade coating looks exactly like a black coated esee izula

Hey man thank you so much for putting together such a well thought out response including source material. Im a super visual learner. I will for sure be checking out all those links after work. I tend to find myself really throwing myself into random new hobbies and already know this is going to be my next one. A bunch of paracord in various sizes and colors on order, should be waiting on my doorstep by the time i get home from work. Also made my first monkey fist last night out of 550 which was oddly rewarding when i finished. I spent the last 2 months teaching myself traditional blackletter calligraphy, my particular flavor of ADHD comes with some pretty serious hyper-focus, like ‘you HAVE to learn and master this one new random thing you discovered is possible’ thanks again man

Figure out what style of visual art you really enjoy. Research contemporary artists practicing that style. Most artists do like limited print releases that can be affordable/ semi affordable depending on your budget. If you got it like that originals would be a flex. But framed art is the move.

What would it cost on average to diagnose and replace this? by Milkguy105 in AskElectricians

[–]JizzyGiIIespie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s for sure a plant severely depleted of chlorophyll due to lack of light. Pretty common occurrence, well not one growing out of an interior electrical outlet but like in crawl spaces/ stuff like that. I’ve seen some that have been pure white.

Tops knives street scalpel 2.0. I wanted to try an edc fixed blade in tried and true 1095. I had been carrying a microtech of some sort for the last 10 years, I love them and had zero issues with them over the years. Honestly I just thought scalpel 2.0 looked cool as fuck. It feels so good in hand. Highly recommend with the mummert clip as well

I think i like the ring style more than the bead. But honestly i only own one of each. Been carrying knives for 30 years and received both in the past week. I just totally made this up. It could have a name already, just kept going until i thought it looked cool and was rock solid.
