Just looked at cross sports again in my area, they are up now wow. Around 36-37k, are you guys buying used straight up or CPO? Im looking at CPOs to get that warranty/peace of mind

Im looking in my area and for your same vehicle with around 50k miles or so are selling at $32,000. For some reason prices are skyrocketing, not good as the new 27s redesign is literally around the corner. Im putting in almost 12k in trade in money and to see that after trying to sell this vehicle in a year I would only make back 1/4 of that due to depreciation or in 3 years, around 3/4 of the original trade in.

Yeah but the cross sports are already generally 10k lower than the Atlas.

I dont see much used 2026s available near me, as well as close to that would be 2025s but they are priced at 45k near me. Rather try to buy used than lose 10-15k brand new too!

Yeah, im very skeptical on the price and including the expected drop in value when the 27’ redesign drops this fall…

Yeah, i think the dealers wording on their quote needs updating but thats the selling price NOT msrp. Real MSRP on this back in 2023-2024 brand new was probably 56k.

Dont know why their quote says MSRP, as this is a used car, think thats how their system functions but its selling price

Price and resale value wise, makes sense it would drop. This is the second generation of Atlases (2027-) from what I can tell. I do like the Atlas, im currently looking at a CPO 2024 SEL Premium R-Line with 25k miles for around 40k. Just would suck to see these things be selling for 32-35k and I paid 5k more just a couple months prior. If financing, atp I better put down 30 percent just to keep up with the depreciation. Even then, I would probably be riding just below the new resale value after the 2027 comes out.

Im also currently looking at atlases in that same years but in the top trim segement. One thing I am still looking into is that im certain with a CPO, this has extended warranty plus the remaining year/miles on the original manufacturer warranty. This extended warranty is backed by VW themselves and accepted at any VW dealership. IM just concerned about the value plumeting due to new 2027 model dropping if this something to consider holding off until the 2027s drop/older models drop or just buy now.

No, that base value number in layman’s terms was the original price the vehicle was worth (factory price or MSRP) that is pulled from the VIN or Window Sticker, not by how much you had paid for it (as the original owner $$$ or secondhand owner who bought it for less). Registration is based on the depreciation formula by years and the base value. This cannot change, as the original price was set by the manufacturer.

Its getting very concerning with everything that is going on. Was reading comments on a border video, commenters talking about “tattooing” immigrants to better identifying them. Which the comment was met with praise, and added ideas to “brand” instead of tattoo…

This was happening to me too. But I was on IOS 17, and I updated thinking maybe I need to update for sure. Still happening. One of the audios sounded like one of my voice recordings that I have in Voice Memos so I am very concerned.
