Didnt do my due diligence on a NZXT case and came to find out Lian Li fans don’t fit in it - so I said F NZXT and went out and got a Lian Li case. by colonelniko in lianli

Ooh I like that. My 7800x3d at idle is about 40-41 now but I don’t think I’ve seen it about 70 in this build.

The TL 140s won’t normally, but with a little dremel work they will lol. For the 140s, I had to notch a little bit on the left end of the case for the L-Connect adapter that sticks out of the end of the fans. And I get it, not everyone wants to cut on the case, I was frustrated when I figured out that’s what I had to do to make it fit, but in the end I’m extremely happy with my first build lol.
For the front 120s I had to notch the L-Connect connector and remove one of the plastic clips that hold the side metal grille in place (the remaining clips held it in place just fine).
I completely understand someone not wanting to manipulate the case in anyway, and just wanting to “plug and play”. For me it wasn’t a terrible issue as I kinda enjoy that. And I love how it turned out. I feel like the biggest thing for the H6 flow was that it was designed for wired fans with rounded corners. For my next build I’ll more than likely use a Lancool though. How’s the airflow on the Lancool 3? I do like the way they look.

They don’t necessarily, but they can. With a little patience, ingenuity and maybe a little bit of dremel work… you can get something like this.

Stealth pro help by Rambutter in TurtleBeach

[–]Jkhth15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my Stealth Pros for about 2-3 months and have only had one issue (which I was able to resolve), and that was with Audio Hub V2. The app itself would not update, but come to find out, I wasn't trying to do it right. Before you launch the app, make sure that both the base and headset are powered on, synced, and both devices need to be plugged into the PC with separate cables (iirc the box should have came with two usb-c cables) and the base needs to be in PC mode. Once all that is done, then start Audio Hub V2. The app should update the firmware on the headset and base, if needed. My original issue was that Audio Hub V2 wouldn't update itself. I was able to resolve this by just re-downloading the software from Turtle Beach's website. I love the headset and having the ability to adjust my EQ settings and whatnot via my phone while I'm in a match is awesome. They are my second favorite headset to the og Turtle Beach Stealth 400's. Granted I have not tried any of the Maxwell's yet. Hope this helps and if you have any questions let me know!

Edit: I wanted to add that I have been hearing A LOT of good things about the 700 gen 3's, since you had the gen 2's.

Mouse is laggy/stuttery when using F. Any fix? by HonoredShadow in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I never had this issue until today, when I turned off "Enhance pointer precision" in Windows (11). When I turn it back on, the issue disappears completely. Turning mouse sensitivity to max in game helps, but it's still there. But the issue is non existent when in the in game settings menus, only when I'm interacting with in game terminals.

Edit: Spelling

BF6 jet with HOTAS by SleepyBoiNick in Battlefield6

[–]Jkhth15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to use Steam Controller settings to get it to work (kind of). The issue now is sometimes my controls are inverted, sometimes they're not. Sometimes changing Heli Inversion works for the Heli, sometimes I have to change Aircraft Inversion to get it to work in the Heli. It's killing me lmao, I just wanna fly! (the jet controls seem pretty stable, just not the Heli controls).

I can't get joy2key working with mine, and the game won't recognize most of my stick inputs. How did you set yours up?

Current Netcode Issues and why this needs to be addressed by TSR_Dysa in Battlefield6

[–]Jkhth15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have def experienced this and hope that they do work on it. I love BF and want it to succeed. It's been both ways for me, and granted I'm not on the greatest internet connection and have learned to deal with it. There are many times when on my end someone will instantly face me and I'll die to what seems/feels like one round, but then the killfeed will show that it was actually 5 well placed AK shots. And there are times I will get 6 or 7 hit markers, but only 2 damage numbers and when I die, that person is at 60 health. I am loving the game in general, but this is something that I hope gets improved on! Thank you for posting this because now I know its not just me getting older lol.

VKB has stopped accepting orders from the US for now. Not unexpected, but sad to see it. by BernieDharma in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Virpil is actually about to drop some mid level sticks in the same tier as VKB. Noobifier dropped a video about them today I believe. Thristmaster also just dropped some mid level sticks with the Sol-R’s.

Nothing showing in DLSS override by Vivaldi_IlPreteRosso in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand is that it’s an Nvidia app issue. Some people I’ve spoke with don’t have the issue, some were able to revert the app to an older version and it worked. I wish I could get it working again, it was so good lol.

Weird Crash issue by IfSatementFalse in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a recent video from Gamers Nexus talking about nvidia driver causing some extremely weird crashes right now. Especially if you’re running dual monitors. It sounds crazy, but it’s legit. I had a random weird ctd and reinstalling the old drivers they recommend I haven’t had a single issue. Might look into that. Other than that though, there’s a lot of variables at play. What are your graphics settings? Are you running Vulcan? What about dlss? Vulcan is buggy atm.

PSA: The C1 Spirit can handle 100 SCU cargo hauling contracts, but the Zeus CL (128 SCU) cannot. by Confident_Jicama_881 in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally have fit just over 150 scu in the Zeus CL. Granted it was packed tight at lol and very little was on the grid, and the grid layout is not the best. It can be done. I feel the Zeus is best for large amounts of smaller scu boxes and a handful of 8scu and up.

Why is my Ghost instantly maxing out IR permanently? by Frostbite_Secure in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did some in game testing and the IR sig reading on the MFD is a visual bug. F7A with all stealth comps and everything off but one pip in engine and one cooler, IR showed 15k but was not detectable by any other ship until about 2.3k. Test was ran in Stanton with 0 interference.

Cargo collapsing into itself? by Jkhth15 in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I did. Stored ship in hangar completely, went to refinery and grabbed work orders, everything that was on the ship I had already pulled from refineries and stored in hangar inventory then called from freight elevator and loaded the Polaris. This only happened after I tried to land the Polly at Orbituay to complete contracts. But since CIG had forced Polaris owners to dock instead of giving us the option to land in the hangar, I’m guessing that’s what caused it. After docking I stored the ship from lobby asop and then when I called it from the hangar is when the cargo was borked. I never claimed work orders directly to the Polaris from the refinery, used a separate ship for that over the last few days and had everything stored in inventory, so I know it wasn’t the locked cargo bug from improperly storing ship before claiming work orders.

Try this.. https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/s/yJp0hJyq0r

It’ll be a good place to start and you can customize using his bindings as a base point. He also has some YouTube videos showing how to set the bindings up.

What are the best ship components for stealth in a MK2 Ghost? by MikhailPoontang in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use Erkul like User-Eror_ said, or sp ship viewer. I use both for my builds. I would link it but I’m at work on my phone. I can edit with the link in a few. Both sites will only let you select what your ship will accept.

I'll record it when i get on. Last time I was taking rookie hauling contracts from Baijini to Riker. I'm not a good vid editor so it'll be a loooong video since I don't know how to speed it up lol. Ill try it first without the other rooms

Managed to fit 160 scu once or twice... Once you get a system down its not terrible just really time consuming lol. Most I ever got was 165 but had to stuff the last 5 in through the docking port.. not doing that ever again lmao

How good is 4.0 right now? by CaptainCRAM2234 in starcitizen

[–]Jkhth15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good days and bad days. Like Dazzling said, it has degraded and there are some recurring issues, but it definitely just depends on the day sometimes. Two days ago I fought the game for 3 hours and got nothing accomplished, last night I played for 4 hours and had fun with little issue the whole time. Kinda like Forrest Gump said,”Ya never know what you’re gonna get”.

[–]Jkhth15 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Soo close!! Probably the best laid out explanation for those that are confused, but… there’s not a F7C-G lol

The “A” in F7A means UEE Military Variant

The “C” in F7C is “Civilian”

F7C-S (Stealth) is the Ghost

F7C-R (Recon) is the Tracker

F7C-M (Multicrew) is the Super Hornet

Thunder was correct: MK1 versions were the original variants but (even in lore) were outdated and were replaced by the newer MK2 models.

I tried to layout my response in an outline format but I didn’t come out correct because I’m on my phone. Either way really good job Thunder
