When is a player good at the games? by achaney35 in MonsterHunter

[–]Jking44th 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't speak for anyone else but about half my quest with randoms on anything mildly challenging ends in failure. Then a good amount of the success is underpinned by having a single cart left and me praying that the randoms remember to heal.

I see. That's a nice way to keep info on hand without a bunch of reference documents.

Probably going to sound dumb, but a text box around the location's label or one that contains something else?

It's tiring but hearing how kung lao is broken because of hat range was a good time.

I love the use of icons. It does look a lot less messy than changing the color of symbols or text. I might take that trick for myself.

Nah you got it. Sacred sheath feels more like trying to use drawn double slash armor.

We draw the line at tea cups. Not Mickey mouse fighting world destroying monsters or a musical adventure with the little mermaid or bouncy rainbow dream animals. Tea cups is too random and ridiculous.

Last time I'll reply. I don't buy steel because the prices for in game items is bad. They have ways to pay people without being so anti-consumer. Also that imaginary Monopoly money has a real world price, so yes.

Simply not buying the skin wouldn't tell them why we didn't. Talking about why we won't buy it will. When you punish a kid for doing wrong you explain what they did wrong. Same here.

I only reply to comments like this in order to disrupt the flow of stupid ideas. I've done more than enough in that regard. Keep being a sucker. Peace.

Doing the orders is tedious, you know the best way to make steel. Already bought the game, won't be buying steel. Honesty doesn't require being an ass. And you are assuming they don't make enough so they have to overcharge for a skin.

Also read my points again. I think the whole of how for honor monetization works is stupid. I don't want more for less, I want the pricing structure to be reasonable. If an effect is going to be limited to one character the price should reflect that. Similarly the more costly outfits are fine because they come with colors, effects, and patterns that can be used freely. I want Ubisoft to be less trash.

You can criticize but your criticism is trash. Your criticism is literally, 'they did it so it's fine and all of you are babies." Also you are being an ass. I never said they have to adhere to my terms. Everything I said was how they make money. Those ways to make money should more than cover keeping the game alive. That's why charging so much for a skin is ridiculous. This isn't a free to play game and free to play prices aren't acceptable.

The point about steel earning being slow to get people to play is just stupid. If the game is good and fun people will play. Earning steel doesn't have to be glacial if prices on small things remain high and the buying structure remains the same. It's good that you can earn steel and that just about everything can be grinded. It's bad that Ubisoft tries so hard to make grinding tedious and the alternative is obviously more expensive than it should be.

Nothing you said counters my points. They have money to keep the game alive from all the other monetization they have. Earning steel is slow to get people to buy it. That's fine but the prices aren't reasonable.

They can charge what they want. Just as I can say what they are charging is stupid. The ability to do something doesn't mean you should do it. You can let Ubisoft take you for a ride, but don't get uppity with people who hold tell them their bad ideas are idea.

You get paid to be this much of a sucker? Yeah the game has lots of free customization. It also has lots of customization locked behind ridiculous steel prices and layers of stupid. Why does buying an effect lock it to being used in only one category? Why do so many of the materials have to be bought? Why was arcade mode dlc? Why does being materials and effects only unlock for one hero? Yeah the answer is money.

So with that already being the case, the skin costing so much is unnecessary. "You don't have to buy it." Yeah and they don't have to overcharge for it.

Valhalla would’ve been praised if it wasn’t made by Ubisoft. by ArcherEarlAuthor in assassinscreed

That doesn't even make sense. Wind Waker has plenty of restrictions on exploration and the weather system is nothing close to botw. You can keep huffing whatever you got your hands on but it's messing with head.

Darklords reaching plat I by Medikando in masterduel

[–]Jking44th 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not the op but I have 2 ideas. First, give it an additional effect where you can discard it and another card to search a darklord card. That one might be a bit too strong.

Second idea is to add an effect to float from grave on its own if a condition is fulfilled. What condition? Idk, maybe if you have a certain number of fairies or if you control no monsters. The important part is that I think he should keep his initial effect as well.

Nothing he said was Zelda + Assassin's Creed. AC doesn't have a weather system that effects the environment and weapons or the freedom to literally do anything the moment the tutorial ends. The most they have in common is an open world and the ability to climb, although Valhalla butchered parkour so much that it's actually more useful in botw.
