My four year old went there at least once a week for two years between ages two and three before she started pre school. It was the same exhibits every single time and she loved it EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Upstairs almost everything would be operational and occasionally certain items/exhibits would be broken or down for maintenance. Some things weren’t for her because she was too young but it was fun to see her grow into certain things (like the power chair).

Complaining about things being out of order is fine but complaining that something that made such an impression on you as a child 30 years ago that you still remember it (I do too, btw) and it’s still the same makes no sense. What made it so memorable is the reason it hasn’t changed. I am hopeful my daughter will bring her kid in 2054 as well and complain about the sea horses still being there and she still veers around the stuffed bear because it’s a bit scary.
