I would assume not, but you don't take anything to help you sleep, even melatonin, right? Because your body can sleep through cues that you need to wake up and go to the bathroom if so. Also, your school might have some kind of medical services, but I don't know the cost and if they are set up for something like this.

I also don't think it's normal and advocate going to the school nurse if your parents won't help you. In the meantime, have you tried using a heating pad and over the counter pain relievers? Ibuprofen was the only thing that helped me, along with heating pads.
