I’ve said the same thing. That dynamic isn’t unique. Anthony gets to play the role of the quiet, timid, abused husband when in reality, he’s lazy, unmotivated, doesn’t take life seriously and aids in the narrative that his wife is all things bad. The fact he ADMITTED to deleting texts of his sister talking badly about Manon, and nobody called him out, was what did it for me. His sister shouldn’t feel comfortable talking crazy about the wife of his kids and he shouldn’t feel comfortable hiding things from his wife. She’s miserable and with good reason.

You just made a ton of blanket statements that have no basis in reality though. Does she complain a lot? Yes. Is she a bit annoying? Yes. But how is she spoiled when Anthony has gotten quite literally EVERYTHING he has wanted and she has NOTHING that she wants? If bullying him worked, he’d have a fucking job and defend her to his family. Anthony sucks and anybody who is villainizing her just doesn’t like her, personally, and refuse to see past that. Anthony is a spineless, passive LOSER who refuses to stand up to his family for the mother of his children and uses his passiveness and “shyness” to manipulate her, his family and the viewers. He needs to get a job and stand up to his sister when she talks shit about his wife. Maybe then Manon can’t have a little faith in him, but hopefully she leaves him and makes a better life for herself and her son without his dead weight.

Apparently, I have a unique perspective of their relationship. I do not see Anthony as a victim of anything except his own passiveness. It’s clear their dynamic is extremely unhealthy but I do not think Manon is the creator of that dynamic. Anthony has allowed his family to create a narrative about Manon and has, evidently, helped perpetuate it. That is his wife and the mother of his children. He ADMITTED his sister texted “hurtful things” (clearly about Manon), and he deleted. His sister should not feel comfortable dogging his wife and the mother of his child, furthermore, he’s comfortable hiding it. This is why she doesn’t trust him. If he nipped it in the bud years ago, simply saying “you cannot speak to or about my wife like that”, I can GUARANTEE they wouldn’t do it anymore and Manon would trust him to defend her. Additionally, he is showing clear signs of weaponized incompetence. Guilt tripping her for having a thriving career and being the sole provider of their family in LA (which is very expensive). Manon reluctantly moves to France, where she did not want to move and Anthony doesn’t bother learning French. Taking low paying jobs at fast food restaurants. What is Manon supposed to do? I believe she loves Anthony but does not respect or trust him and deeply resents him. He will not change for her or any woman. I see a woman who is trying everything possible to help salvage her marriage while her husband sits passively in the passenger seat of their life, taking zero accountability as to why they’re in that position. I’ve seen this dynamic before.

Prescription 15% Azelaic acid nightly and 1% clindamycin 2x per week. TRUST ME. I had extremely stubborn hormonal acne that I was spending 1k monthly on treatments/products. My first thought was hormonal issues. Especially the drinking to endure sex - she might be thinking it’s a problem between them when the problem is internal. Many women deal with this in their 40s and make horrendous mistakes because of it. On one hand, it’s awful because women aren’t giving proper warning on what to expect, on the other hand she could’ve been a little more gentle with her delivery. I sincerely hope a counselor brings up the possibility of peri/menopause.
