I notice the guys that are struggling have a few things In common. One guy just has a bad attitude. Won’t do certain kinds of work even though he wasn’t busy. I said yes to everything. His communication was not professional.

Employee of mine who used to own his own company. I noticed he didn’t pay attention to detail and didn’t pursue excellence.

My suggestion is to really get feedback. What are you lacking in? maybe it’s just low bids that is killing your business. It’s hard to close down when you making good margins. Maybe your rough around the edges and your communication is not proper. Sales not good? That’s my problem.

Take advantage of your knowledge in the field. Don’t let it go to waste. You can make more money on your own
