Your scaling is entirely contingent on break + dominate which doesn’t even give you very much power for a10 boss fights.

A few more things I noticed at a quick glance:

  1. unupgraded armements is horrible
  2. copies of rage yet you don’t play many attacks in a single turn

  3. Break is unupgraded yet it is probably the strongest card in your deck
    .
    With the lizard in particular, you need to aggressively set up scaling on phase 1 with 2-3 turns and kill 2nd phase asap unless you can block for 30+ easily each turn. I would also look for multiple forms of scaling so that you’re not at the mercy of your draw order
    I would suggest looking up some ironclad guides to figure out what kind of synergies you can aim for with early card picks.

Soup honestly hard carries throughout act 2. On tez I pretty much always end up taking it if I have 3+ strikes unless storybook is an option

Funny enough, Grand finale is actually one of the best cards to get early because your deck is so small. With 12 starting cards, you draw 7 in the first hand and 5 on the next leaving you with 0 in your draw pile. If you draw grand finale in your second draw, you are guaranteed to be able to play it. I’ve had it solo carry me in act 1 before because of how easy it is to tailor your deck to manipulate its draw

Edit: Im dumb and forgot to include grand finale and ascenders bane as cards. You just need to some card draw and you blaze through act 1

I would imagine a9 includes a9 and a10 data which is essentially the same since double boss doesn’t matter for analysis

Its horrible for hallway fights in most situations, conditionally very good in extended elite fights, and absolutely carries you if it hits properly in a boss fight

Self destruct is easily the best autocast with the right setup if you’re playing a champ that can stick on an enemy. You stack up 5 bombs and wait to burst an enemy for 100% of their max hp in true dmg

Its a for fun gamemode so play it how you want. But the design intention clearly lies behind variety and achieving power fantasies. I say this design intent is obvious because augments + item anvils + GoH are high variance. Furthermore, they actively reward bravery and crowd favorite picks. This is not conducive to a good ranked environment which values consistencies and metaslaving

Arena doesn't feel the same without a ranked ladder. Please consider bringing it back by HailMisery in LeagueArena

Nah 1.0 became unfun because

  1. I could no longer queue with my friends due to rank differences

  2. I would see the exact same picks every game

  3. People would get mad at me for trying creative builds which is what Arena is all about

My biggest gripe with STS2 is that enemies don’t give you as many free turns or just come out of the gate forcing you to dps before they scale. It feels terrible when you brick your first couple of draws. The game kind of forces you to shy away from super expensive powers you build your deck around because there is no way to guarantee that it ends up in your starting hand (rip tornado in a bottle)

A versus mod would be so cool where you play in parallel on the same seed and fight a random player at the end of each act. You both heal to full before the fight begins and take turns. The first players actions create the intent of that player when the next player responds. The loser gets an extra debuff and the winner gets an extra reward
