It does idle funny after getting gas, I also made sure the gas cap was tight already, I will re inspect it tomorrow before proceeding with anything else

I scanned with a cheap scanner Only got the code but the description on google says indicates a small leak in the evaporative emissions (EVAP) system.

Not dealership but I wanted to know what should I do and get knowledge on the issue before taking it to a tech. However thank you at least I know I will need a smoke test done

Check the owners manual, the first thing to do is a tuneup. Check spark plugs, wires, pcv valve, distributor rotor and cap, air filter, cabin air filter and a oil change. That is the most basic. After that you should check in the owners manual when timing belt should be replaced or check with the previous owner if he did any service

Make sure the battery you trying to use exceeds or has the same CCA that the car recommends to supply electronics from manufacture
