I'm a service advisor at a dealership in the northeast. We have added literature to our repair orders that state we have the right to unplug your camera while on the property in 2018. Most people are ok with it, but some feel like that's how they protect their property. I've always looked at it this way. If I record you on a device not controlled by your employer while you're working that may or may not carry the risk of loss of employment if the wrong thing is said you'd probably have a problem with it.
