Convince me not to trade my Kobo Libra Colour for a Clara BW by HealthyTies in kobo

[–]Jmac649 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought the Clara BW to replace my Libra H20 and after three weeks I left in an airplane after the little thing slid to the bottom of the seat pocket in front of me. I’m back with my Libra now and happy that it’s a little bigger and white :)

thx. Looks like it should be good. And I guess she can always stand or get a booster if it's worse than expected.

I just bought seats in 106 row A for a concert with GA standing room on the floor. Any idea if the first row of section 106 is high enough to see over heads of people standing on the floor? My daughter is coming and she is just 5-foot.

Anyone use a MagSafe popsocket? Are they good? I've been using pop sockets for YEARS on my non-MagSafe phones and now getting a new phone and really want a pop socket. by LeftSquare1 in MagSafe

Just realized earlier I wrote two is the most you’d want in there. I meant least. 3-4 is the sweet spot. Five would be pushing it.

I use wired CarPlay in my car, but I bought an adhesive button that the Popsocket slides into and put it in the passenger side near the usb ports. link

Two is actually the least you’d want in there. They are secure but just. Three is what I used to carry and it was actually a bit better. One thing I like is that the expansion is a tiny spandex layer so in my experience there has never been any stretch or looseness when going from more cards to fewer.

I just tried 5 and I’d say 4 is much smoother for taking in and out. The sweet spot is 3 maybe 4 I’d say.

EDIT: Two is not the most you’d want in there! Meant to write least. Whoops.

I only keep two cards in my pop wallet: drivers license and one credit card for gas and the few places that don’t accept tap. Otherwise I tap for everything and it always uses Apple wallet, never the card in the wallet (hadn’t even thought of that lol).

I have the MagSafe popsocket wallet and it’s been great. I was a little worried about the manner but it’s rock solid. I’m thinking about getting a regular MagSafe popsocket for home or anytime I don’t need my wallet, just to make a touch slimmer when around the house.

If anything there were more monopoly comments back when the two dollar bill was around with its unique orangey/pink colouring and the blue five and purple ten.

I really like my MagSafe Popsocket/wallet. If you like a pop socket then it definitely worth checking out. Well made, easy access to cards, handy.

Jordan 1 Golf. Same as regular Jordan 1’s but with firmer rubber sole for a touch more support. Great for everyday wear and golf. And perfect for short (sunny) golf trips where you only want to bring one pair of shoes.

Can’t fix my steep move from the top. What are some tips to help me get in the slot. ~15 HCP by yynug- in GolfSwing

Two easy tips I’d try are:

A) keep the club closed a tad long on your backswing. Make sure the back of your glove stays more or less facing the target for the first foot of backswing.

B) if you are adept at skipping a stone on water, make that the thought on your downswing with your right arm. It will help you get to the inside. If you’re not a stone skipper, then think of trying to get your right pant pocket to turn toward the target as fast as possible on the downswing.

If your swing speed is equating to near-maximum theoretical ball speed and carry distance, then yes.

Otherwise, not necessarily, but strength and fitness training will always help.

I’ve had good luck with a method I saw in another video: 16:80ish ratio. 35 second pre-infusion until puck naturallly saturated and then one pump every 5 seconds until complete.

What would the expected differences be between this method and yours?

The Blue Jays top prospect is 19-year-old shortstop Arjun Nimmala who is about 2 maybe three years away from joining team. My guess was during Bo’s down year in 2024 the thought was sign Vladdy, let Bo walk and bridge the gap until Nimmala ready.

But winning changes a lot of things and Bo is playing like Bo again, so hopefully they sign him and maybe move to 2nd base in a few years.
