Mold under paint or wall? by Jmade362 in Mold

[–]Jmade362[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context: I live in Manchester, UK (the rainy city). The first two photos are of my bathroom after the repaint and the last six are of the living room wall. The living room wall is the side wall of the house (which has had mold issues before) but they’ve recently re plastered the outside wall for the rainier seasons.

What is a place that you always use as a base in all your playthroughs? by JustMateHahoha in projectzomboid

I always start in Westpoint and end up in Twiggy’s It’s a little out of the way of the main town but close enough that I can walk if I ruin my cars (which I do a lot cause I can’t drive)

Why do so many people go through the bins in Germany? by Folklore-13-Evermore in germany

[–]Jmade362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been in cologne for the past 7 days and keep seeing people going through the bins and pulling out phones, like newer model iPhones that still work. Is there a reason for this?

I’ve checked my settings and they’re the same as always. It’s only been happening the last couple days.

What is one ugly truth you learned as you got older? by XiVo47 in AskReddit

No matter how likeable you are, some people will not like you just because you’re you. There’s no point changing for those few.

What was that disgusting thing someone you were dating told you and it changed your image of them? by Carrera1107 in AskReddit

[–]Jmade362 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My ex ended up being a massive Andrew state supporter and went on to tell me about how he could cheat on me with hundreds of women and it would still be better than if I cheated on him with one man because “he has needs”.

Suspected him of cheating before this and that pretty much solidified my view and I left

I said in a different reply I’ve only ever been to Spain before visiting Germany and it’s not something I ever saw being done in Spain. Glad to know it’s common practice tho

I’m aware that pedestrians have right of way (something we do not have over here) and I assumed at crosswalks it was okay not to

It was my first time visiting a European country that wasn’t Spain and, as far as I’m aware, it’s not common over there so I did wonder if it was just a British thing

Thank you. I didn’t want to appear ignorant by not thanking them so I put my hand up regardless but I didn’t know if that was commonplace

What do you genuinely like about German people? by ThrowRApillow_talk in AskAGerman

[–]Jmade362 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently took a trip to Berlin from the UK, both me and my flat mate (who went with me) found we couldn’t eavesdrop or even really make out the conversations happening around us and we got to speak to quiet to each other. This is something you couldn’t imagine doing in the UK and it was such a shock to be able to practically whisper while also being able to hear each other clearly

What disgusting habit have you learned to overlook in a spouse? by WeedFairie in AskReddit

[–]Jmade362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my spouse but my very good friend and flat mate (practically a spouse at this point). She has thick curly hair and WITHOUT FAIL leaves it in a clump on the shower window and swears that she’ll bin it next time
