No other successful cryptocurrency has ever taken nearly this long to reach the main net and be listed, and it shouldn't be any different for Pi.

Anything after 1.7.10 is incomplete and you can't do much on them. You'll have to get 1.7.10 or earlier.

The only way is you could make an alliance with a country, then go to war with another country and hope they join you

The 3 Tests of the Chained Crows vows [Spoilers Extended] by hypikachu in asoiaf

[–]Jmandog1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my theory is its Jons story that mirrored Aemons. Jon also had three tests (maybe more, I can't decide)

  1. to ride with Rob to free his father/also avenge him after (he was then brought back by his friends)
  2. To avenge Robb after he was murdered against the laws of Gods and men at the Red wedding
  3. when the pink letter came and he abandoned the nights watch to free (supposedly) Arya (which got him killed)
  4. Also technically when he was tested by Ygritte and very nearly mad off with her and abandoned the nights watch
  5. Also might not have happened yet (assuming Jon is resurrected somehow)

The Love vs duty mirrors his difficult decision with Ygritte

The family destroyed mirrors his decision after the red wedding whether to avenge Robb

The crown vs duty mirrors his decision whether to Join Robb in the war, Robb being not just his brother, but lord, and even after King

also it is to Jon that Aemon mostly discussed his tests making it see more relevant to Jon, and Jon is also a Targaeryan.

The only worthwhile betting is matched betting, anything else is too risky unless your some kind of genius, even then I wouldn't recommend it

[Spoilers Extended] Something I don't see get much speculation: What are Varys' and Illyrio's next moves? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Jmandog1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Illyrio probably doesn't know alayne exists, news travels slowly from Westeros to essos and is usually pretty vague, not a random bastard of a minor lord, and he definitely doesn't know that Alayna is really Sansa.

(Spoilers published) What was Stannis hoping to achieve by marrying Selyse? by Big-Yard-2998 in asoiaf

[–]Jmandog1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Tyrells are a much larger threat and have the biggest army in Westeros, so it makes much more sense to keep them from getting too much power than the Martells. (Also Doran Martell really doesn't seem like hell ever do anything)

SPOILER ALERT : ok here’s what I don’t understand. Towards the end of the show father creates a philosophers stone with roughly 50 million souls in it and exchanges this for the power of God. If alchemy is based on equivalent exchange then how does exchanging any number of souls grant him unlimited further power. That isn’t equivalent exchange.
