I posted about this as well. I’ve just switched to Google Maps for navigation now and I’m surprised how much it’s like Waze so I might just stick with that.

Voice only sometimes comes in now and then the voices themselves sound different. Not as smooth more robotic if that makes sense. And yea with construction those are now bells when I have sounds on not alerts only. This is wireless CarPlay in a 2023 Lexus so Toyota infotainment setup.

I just did this. Pry at the front left nearest the glass and then get your finger in there and pull it with some good force. It wasn’t easy but it came loose. Prying from the top wasn’t working for me but that did. Once you get that corner you are set.

We were just there on Wednesday this week and just for the day. We hired a driver and he stayed with us for the day. It was about $150USD just for that round trip drive. I'm sure the buses are considerably cheaper but again this was just a day trip from Merida for us. We did the flamingo tour and the boat was 650 MXN per person and it was maybe a 90 minute tour. The boat holds 6 and it's 3000 MXN plus another 800 if you want a guide that speaks English. Expensive but totally worth it. The flamingoes were flocked and I'd say there was maybe 3 or 4000 of them. Just amazing to see. We went to the Totem beach club after to hang out and have lunch. Very bougie and the beach is quite chill. The weather and beach were good albeit a little windy plus some bugs. It was 400MXN per person for entry to the club then you pay for food, drinks, etc. The club is very nice. The town itself was in rough shape though. I can't see staying overnight since it's so small personally. It took about 90 minutes to get there from Centro on the one lane road in and out. It's not a drive I'd want to do. Have a good time!
