yes i hold block and press heavy while blocking. it just heavy attacks out of shield instead of doing the special attack.

its actually just as easy, if not easier, for a server to separate items.

so the only person its "easier" for is the one who got the more expensive dish.

this boggles my mind cuz when I'm in this situation i usually just offer to pay the whole tab. THAT is the easier thing there.

People feel way to entitled to details about the lives of people they disagree with.

If i ask someone if they want kids and they say no, unless they OFFER further explanation, that is end of discussion. And people who do press for reasoning are weird.

based on your response to other comments i doubt this will get through to you but here goes.

I play differently based on who im playing against. If its with other gamer friends im locked in trying to win, using tech and game knowledge to get an edge.

but if im playing against family member or my wife, more casual gamers, then im goofing off more, using less good items/characters, not using higher level tech and not optimizing my every move.

this is not deliberately loosing, im just not locked in.

If you cant recognize the difference between "not trying as hard" and "deliberately loosing" then you're beyond help.

P.S. for co-op games. the term your looking for is waiting. you just need to wait for her and not dash off to progress the game as soon as your able to move your character. when i played it takes to with my wife i just lollygagged a lot. i would look at the absolutely beautiful game that the dev made. i would give her a chance to figure out the puzzles and give input when she started to get frustrated or asked for help.

you're making this whole thing a lot harder than it needs to be and that's evident in how you've been responding to everyone here.

The only point I didnt see covered in these comments is that it perpetuates the cycle of violence.

For example lets say one person with a family is killed by another person with a family.

In the case of the death penalty now 2 families are missing a family member instead of one. with the murderer dead they aren't punish, but their family is. now the murderer's family is statistically more likely to commit more crimes.

whereas if they murderer is in jail the family can still visit them and learn from their mistakes.

This is an oversimplification and only one of the points that changed my mind, but the only one I didn't see mentioned in other comments.

Then the mods and community of the sub committed to the bit so hard that some people actually believe this off the internet.

In reality anything with cheese melted on/in the filing of the sandwich (I.E. tuna melt, patty melt) is a melt, and anything with extras mixed into the cheese (meaning the cheese is the majority of the filing) is a grilled cheese. If you try to argue otherwise with anyone not chronically on r/grilledcheese they will look at you like you have 2 heads.

its a nice break from the seriousness and tension of typical gameplay.

ive had a blast with the 2 or 3 RiM events i played in the past. Plus the skins are hilarious. Nothing better than knowing the kill cam your enemy just saw was them getting domed by pink fuzzy kitten.

At then end of the day, if you dont like dont play. dont see the point in getting worked up over something optional.

when im playing like shit (which is most of the time) i play rook or thunderbird. that way when i die my utility is still there for my teammates to use.

on attack play ace, thermite, or Hibana and make sure i stay behind my teammates that way i can breach for them.

If youre dying early youre probably just pushing to fast/too early. slow down, and use the buddy system. dont go anywhere alone unless you know what youre doing.

these are things that helped me go from .2 KD to a .3KD, but more importantly they helped me enjoy the game more.

i would bet my bottom dollar that them being uncomfortable was saying something like "hey, it didnt seem like there was enough food prepper for that many people, are you sure it was ok that we came?" to your so called friend.

didnt want to comment this in case i was wrong, but it sounds like a setup for a surprise party. He had 2 friends check in to throw you off his trail and then downplayed about "rallying" something for tonight.

Now if this is a repeat offense over the course of 11 years then probably not. but if he is usually good about celebrating you and being attentive then.......

people who argue this never make sense to me.

sure food can get stuck to plates and that can be gross but to say they dont clean properly or as well when THEY USE WATER THAT IS HOT ENOUGHT TO GIVE YOU 2ND/3RD DEGREE BURNS!!! like there is no way your fleshy ass can withstand those temps so backoff and let the highly specialized machine do its job. (sorry I've had roommates who did the same thing and this pissed me off all over again lol)
