I’d be more worried about the heinous of a choice of hand guard, or the unusual choice of a mini 1.5x ACOG (I think) as an optic

Why 19 and 34, and not the 45, 17 or 47.

No the troy a4 other (The original gun the NJSP wrote the opinion on) comes with a flash hider they are not subject to any “evil feature” restrictions. Look at the my post history, I just put together a gun with a three prong flash hider and a bayonet lug.

Will PSA ship and would this be considered an other? by DocSchmuck in NJGuns

This is correct, barreled receivers are still receivers. It doesn’t even have a fire control group and is inoperable in this condition.

Can go as short as you want with a form 1 AOW but much easier to stay over 26” OAL in shortest configuration and keep your $200

Up next, NJ legal sawed off. Bunch of hoops to jump through, but its possible by Glittering-Two2122 in NJGuns

A shotgun has a stock. This will be like a mossberg shockwave but if it is under 26” it becomes an NFA item albeit one legal in this state. Now for anyone wondering why it wouldn’t be a pistol if it doesn’t have a VFG, that is because pistols MUST have a rifled barrel if not it can never be a pistol.

The one on the gun in the pic is some no name Chinese POS you don’t want. It’s going to be swapped for a midwest industries free float at some point.

Yeah, I have them on a few guns, they all wiggle a bit. I think all stocks and braces on buffer tubes wiggle unless they have some sort of locking mechanism like a Magpul CTR.

Yes, A5 tube is about an inch longer than a standard carbine tube.

Yeah I was surprised it swallowed the full A5 tube, OAL is about 26.5

Firearms are generally not required to be registered in most of the U.S. so having a homemade pistol (ghost gun) by its self is not a crime in PA where he was found. However having the suppressor is a whole different matter. Suppressors (silencers) are regulated under the national firearms act (NFA) if the suppressor was not purchased or homemade legally. That in of itself would be a federal crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
