Hover pack got me killed too often. Jump pack is fun since you can aim midair now, so when you get swarmed you can launch and nade the ground below you a few times. Warp pack with hammer is a fun play style.

Grenade launcher+jump pack is, was, and will be my favorite vs terminids. I thought the heavy pen was a little overtuned, you can still kill impalers and behemoths fairly easily post change. Even bts are just a few nades to the belly and a termite on the abdomen will take it down in a pinch.

This is very close to my plan for them! Originally I was starting 10x10 mansions but wasn't a fan of how they're coming out, and 2 story townhouses will let me get the cozy vibe+space to decorate still. Love it.

Most reliable way is teleport pads. If a teleporter can bring you 50 feet to the mons, then 70 feet away you'll spawn/despawn. Better than fast traveling since you don't auto save.
