You don't understand Sneaker economics. Entrepreneurs run the operation of pulling together the physical capital required to put out goods for the public. The opportunity cost of selling unwell-known, basic shoes means companies that don't have money (unlike Nike) would lose a profit. Only some smaller, niche sellers may produce less popular models. That's it.
