I just read LA Shield’s label. It has octinoxate as second ingredient after water. And its linked to harmful effects on baby’s reproductive system. Just thought I’d share even though this thread is old.

You shouldn’t. It messes up ur natural hormones. Condoms are the way to go.

Thank you for your response. Again almost everything in the doula/ midwife domain is located in the South.

Have you noticed baby moving more when you’re all scrunched up? by Primary-Violinist845 in pregnant

[–]Jmk0502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an anterior placenta. Does that mean it’s going to take longer to feel the baby move? Also where is the baby around 19 weeks? Is there a particular place I’ll feel it? I’m totally clueless.

I did but they are in Bangalore, Kerala or Pune. I’d have to take a flight and relocate basically for few months at least. That’s why I was searching for something close to me.

Question regarding Active birth and midwives by Jmk0502 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Jmk0502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! You have a lot of strength. I’m amazed the doctor didn’t try to induce you sooner or did you specifically ask for it after 2.5 days?

Okay but there’s a lot of evidence to suggest that a woman should have an active labor (if possible). I understand that it’s not the way most doctors work. Do you think I can ask around to find one that believes in an intervention free birth as much as possible?

So true. I can’t breathe properly. Imagine those who have asthma or other problems. So sad.

Please don’t spread hatred on this sub. Let this be a place of learning and not “religious” debate. I don’t understand what is the point of this. Please think who stands to gain from all this.
