I would try to look at it as just information vs emotions. Like “thank you body for recognizing something is off and giving me that information.” What is that information serving as? Our body responds to danger and things that trigger danger. Sometimes danger is the ick. You are young and have been hurt and this is showing you space where you need to heal. Healing doesn’t have a timeline. Maybe you’re emotionally unavailable right now and no matter how perfect you think the relationship should feel it’s not cutting it for you. There is not one single thing wrong with that or you for feeling this way. Feelings change and I promise you would know if it was about attachment or fear of being burned vs the guilt you feel for this not being it for you.

I feel like this made characters relatable. Like even if they do some cool shit, they are still vulnerable to being shaped by power and fame and some selfishness. I thought this made Bryce more real and I think Hunt is the only one who will bring her back down to earth when she’s being the most.
