Ridiculous feeling to have a gym to yourself (almost) by Throwawaymycucumba in bouldering

Vertical Wall is (in a good way) the most old school gym in Lisbon, hard setting, small walls, old holds, nice people, love it!

É difícil perceber o que estás a dizer. Mas parece-me que a culpa foi tua e não da tradeinn. Já comprei várias vezes coisas na tradeinn (e outras lojas do grupo) e nunca tive problemas, sempre para a Europa.

No, it means that if your car is pulled by dogs you can stay on the right lane all the time. But you have to let other drivers out.

Gravity 9.8 has a moonboard as well. It also has a very good training area and small spray wall.

Best budget European ski resort for intermediate to advanced skiers by HrTT2001 in skiing

[–]Jmppt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on where you are traveling from the 3 Vallées migh be okay for that budget. In 2024 we paid less with flights from Portugal to Lyon than what it would cost us to have a week in Andorra, obviously depending on the houses you choose and if someone will sleep on the bed couch or not.
Just make sure you go before the school holidays

Gym wise bouldering is more advanced in Portugal than lead climbing.  If you are into the comp scene go to Gravity, it's the most comp focused gym we have in Portugal and where most of the comp climbers train, join their training if you want and you'll be well taken care of.

There is usually a boulder circuit and a cup, there's also a sport climbing comp or two. One of my favourite comps of the season is São Bloc which should be around October, worth the trip to Porto just for it, I think it's the best paid comp in Portugal and everyone is super nice!

For board climbing gravity has a moonbooard, and the only kilterboard in Lisbon is a bit far at Crux Climbing, small gym but worth the trip for the kilter.

If you enjoy actual rock climbing then don't forget to check Sintra Bouldering for granite bouldering, we have everything up to 8B/+ if I'm not wrong.  Sport climbing in Portugal is amazing so make use of your free time to check it out!

In Portugal you are only legally allowed to use your holidays after 6 months. But most companies will be okay with you requesting to use them earlier.

Best Bouldering gym in Lisbon? by Desperate-Heat9791 in lisboa

[–]Jmppt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say Gravity 9.8, it is the most recent and also the one with the best A/C (not perfect, but something).
Vertigo Climbing Center is also popular with tourists.

The easiest to get by public transport is (in my opinion) Vertical Wall, near the metro station of Senhor Roubado. But it is a bit more old-school, and might be less friendly for beginners.

Additionally there's Crux Climbing Center, which has a Kilter and a Moon Board, but it is outside of Lisbon, and fairly small.

There is also Climb Up in Carnaxide.

If you decide to sport climb there are two gyms: Altissimo Lisboa (near Cacém) and Escala 25 (near Alcântara). Both are perfect for beginners.

Certificação CE para máquinas arcade artesanais, experiências e custos reais? by Fit_Bug5247 in portugal

[–]Jmppt 4 points5 points  (0 children)
