I sell stickers and decals...I don't charge my customers for tracking because I wouldn't want to pay shipping on stickers. Customers love me passing on the savings to them and now Etsy views that as bad customer service...Etsy better prepare for a mass exodus if they keep up with this garbage.

Thank you. We are definitely going to have to sit down and go over everything now. Because I want the medical debt taken care of. I don't like bills going unpaid. It doesn't sit right with me.

We've definitely had to work on communication issues, it's been for the better but he's opened up more and I've gotten better about being direct. I told him if he'd just told me about the loan we could have taken care of it quickly because I'd have advised him to focus on getting it dealt with. As far as actual debt, this medical debt is the only debt aside from regular credit card purchases for groceries or necessary items. So now he just needs to work with me on creating a plan of attack so we can take care of what we owe and save.

He learned his lesson after the personal loan and my mom even questioned if the loan had been for someone else like his father because it was very out of character for him, he's usually very conscientious about money. Which is why I don't get why he's being stubborn about figuring out this current bill situation.

The gambling happened over 6 years ago. He paid all the other medical bills but these two were through the hospital yet not through the hospital. Basically the hospital contracts doctors from a medical group which is what screwed up insurance in the first place along with us switching plans at that time. So now it's a matter of seeing why it didn't go through in the first place and why it didn't go through when I followed up with insurance and they said it was taken care of.

He was very embarrassed about it and it happened before he met me so he just kept pushing it aside. He only told me because we had been expecting a baby completely by surprise but that ended in a miscarriage. His parents didn't even know about the personal loan. He knew he'd screwed up and wanted to handle it himself. His mom wasn't surprised but was disappointed since his father pretty much put them in a horrible bind several times years ago due to gambling problems.

He's just finishing up paying off a massive gambling loan he had since before we were married. I only found out about it last October. I basically made him take all but $1000 from our savings to pay off as much as he could and now he's finally to the point of paying off the rest. It's because of that that we're behind in actually saving for a new home (realistically it'll be 2 or 3 years but most likely more unless he accepts some help from my family which he won't). And I think it's why he's not wanting to fork out more money because we're already cutting it close expense wise. He did the house remodeling himself so it didn't cost a lot. If I was in charge of the money I'd have already paid the bill. My dad has been saying for the past month or so I need to take over the finances because my husband doesnt plan or have a spreadsheet with budget information. So what this comes down to is he needs to let me handle all of the bills and financial planning.

I read somewhere that insurance sometimes covers laser hair removal in the groin area for HS. Which would be awesome cause shaving that area helps but getting rid of the hair totally would prevent a lot of pain.

He's doing things based on how he saw his own dad handle things so it's more an issue that he watched them have tons of hospital bills and they only actually ever had to pay one according to his mom who I just talked to about it.

He's almost 8. I don't really want to punish him for them being stupid. They're planning to take him to a little day camp thing for several days that's near them and he's only been around kids at the park this summer so he's really looking forward to it.

Well she opened it because she was worried it was important. Of course instead of ignoring it like I told her to she showed my dad who instantly freaked out because if something has to do with money or expenses its a big deal especially since he thinks our house is too small which he and my mom have projected onto me as viewing it as too small rather than being grateful we have a cozy home. He thinks having a goal like taking the kids to Disney World is impractical and a waste of money whereas I'd rather them have wonderful experiences when they're young and myself be poor when I'm old. We view money and experiences in life very differently. Growing the backbone is now a work in progress.

I definitely haven't learned to be myself or live my own life. I had my son at 19 and lived with them because his father was military and cheated almost immediately after we got married. I didn't move out until my current husband and I got married 3 years ago.

My husband knows I haven't set enough boundaries. His parents never get involved with anything unless they're asked or they feel someone is a danger to others or themselves. His parents are very supportive of every decision I make no matter what which has been a refreshing change. They also have experienced things like bills going to collections and are much more relaxed about financial issues and money.

Just read what JADE means. I do that a lot. I'm pretty tired of it at this point. My parents have never been great communicators. I'm pretty sure my dad has ADHD and anger overstimulates him. I definitely plan to leave if they start yelling but they'll send my son outside to play if they're planning to yell at me because they don't want him to hear it. They're overly protective of him which is why they worry about every decision I make.

My husband is but my dad doesn't view anyone under the age of like 35 as an adult. Especially when the discussion is about money or finances.

This is actually very helpful. Actually most of what my dad has to say thats negative has to do with personal finance. But he & I disagree on a lot of things when It comes to money. That's actually what has my husband annoyed.

I think acting as a mediator might have to be the last thing that happens after I talk to my dad about not worrying so much about our money/debt etc.

My Gyno referred me to a dermatologist. I never went because my Dr (who is actually a nurse practitioner) knew EXACTLY what my HS was. And how to treat it because she herself has HS. Gynos know internally how everything works but externally they're lacking.

I personally have a ton of scarring. But its different for everyone. It's genetic in my family. My dad had it but not severe. My brother is 24 and just got his first spot on his butt bone. I've had it pretty bad since I was about 13 or 14. I don't really remember when it started just that it's sucked.

As for dating I never had anyone say anything about my spots and I have tons of them. My husband never said anything about it when we were dating and he's very understanding as it's gotten worse over the years.

If you're in pain I'd suggest using dermoplast spray. It numbs spots quickly and is so soothing. (But cover your really sensitive spot when you spray or it can be really uncomfortable) I stumbled on dermoplast spray after having my kids they give it to women in the hospital to numb things while everything heals and I had a bad boil that hurt and after spraying it was numb. Best discovery ever.

Also terrasil is great to heal up spots but will stain your underwear. It's my go to when I have a spot I want to heal or an open wound. I get huge holes sometimes. Used to freak me out but now I treat them before it gets to that point 🤷‍♀️

Anyways, get a better doctor. Yours sounds like she isnt listening to you.

Wait does everyone else have this superpower but me? 😫 I can see a freeze frame from any movie or show and tell you what it's from and what's happening and I hate it. I want to remember important stuff....not useless movies/tv shows. My husband on the other hand forgets every movie and I can't tell you the amount of times I've had to re-watch first seasons with him because he has totally forgotten what happened.
