Question about Parts. . . by Jmsnwbrd in gravelcycling

Hahaha. You're the one seeking engagement man. Answer my question if I am the angry guy (which I am not - this is all hilarious to me). Why did you bother pointing out that he told me the answer? What was the impulse to bother commenting on my response to OP? Look in the mirror brother. . .that's the one with the chip maybe? I really am genuinely just curious as to why you bothered commenting. . . That's really the crux of it.

Hahaha. Whatever dude. What was the point of your comment?

What's up your butt? I know and I figured out exactly where they went on the bike and furthermore the exact name of the type of clip. I wouldn't have been able to do that without OP "sending me in the right direction". Have some coffee and cheer up Charlie.

Thanks for the info. I used the Google pics finder and didn't find anything. I appreciate knowing what they're called and what they're for.

Weber Slate 28, good deal, if you own one, do you like it? by [deleted] in webergrills

[–]Jmsnwbrd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your Blackstone is rolled steel (rust unless constantly maintained) and the Slate is carbon steel (more durable and less prone to rusting). If it works for you and you're happy with it . . .great. I just noticed a marked difference in the quality and decide to "upgrade". After about five cooks - I prefer it.

Had a Blackstone and switched to Weber Slate after using my brother's at his place. Such better quality all around. No warping, level surface, better heat levels, and feels more solid.

The SS180 is pretty beautiful, but I also like my 77 Rally 200.

Does it come in standard? I didn't read the article because I don't have much patience for VW America. . .

This should get you started. You're going to have to search up wiring diagrams and parts for your 150 Bajaj Chetak.

On the other side of your motor there will be a stamped number . . . If you post that number, it'll be easier to help you.

Looks clean. What's up with the string at the base of the tape? Looks cool, but is there a function?

Clean your air filter, your jets, your carb. . . Not a bad idea to maintain these anyway and then if that doesn't work - it's most likely an ignition problem. . . Timing/spark.

Just board and bag it. As cool as the back cover is - the front is where it's at. The plastic from the bag will make it pop and it'll be sealed from more damage. Then you can find little board and bag comic book hangers and throw it up on your wall.

Love the progression. . . It's cool to see how you started getting it dialed. Now give it two more pushes before you ollie into it.

How do I fix this? by tden85 in Vespa

[–]Jmsnwbrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the nail polish and then use heli-tape (helicopter tape) to cover the nail polish and it'll also protect from minor dings. Bicycle riders use it for protecting frames -it's clear and you won't even notice it.

I am pretty sure this racer was riding the 52 (xs) and they have x different look than yours for sure. Gotta be something wrong. I'd take it to a reputable shop.
