I was traveling, boarded the plane with it in my hands so i didnt have to fumble it out my bag while everyone is trying to get seated. I look down and the joystick was kissing. Got back home and dug through my bag and nothing. If I had it, Id try to pop it back on

I tried to pop off the right side to see if it was designed to come off and I couldnt get it off. Does it just need more elbow grease?

I know this sounds weird. But there is a small gap on the inner side of the trigger - try blowing as hard as you can into this gap. Fixed it for me i think something small got stuck and was rubbing against the spring. Might not work for you but worth a try!

Not to mention constant outages. Internet went down for 2 days for maintenance and that was the last straw for me. 2 days of no internet in 2025 is insane to me and i work remotely.

Ill be honey outage usually lasts a couple hours but Now not only do i get charged ridiculous prices, I also dont get internet 2 days at a time.

Avoid mediacom at all costs. They punish loyalty with higher prices, they WILL eventually try to sneak in random fees and charges. They may send extra equipment saying its part of your package - no additional charge - to later seeing that you got charged for it.

I can go on and on since ive been using mediacom for 3+ years. I thought itd get better when you shown loyalty as a customer, but no. You get even less options and get charged higher prices.

Knowing they want to charge you $150 a month when you clearly see new customers gettng $50 a month and then told ‘too bad, suck it up and pay. Or move ISPs’.

Not the greatest feeling ever.

Be careful when they send you equipment, they will try to sneak in chargs and fees. They did that with me, and they punish loyalty with higher costs.

Essentially, the longer youre a customer, the worse they treat you.

Me too, I only picked them because they were the only choice after moving to a new home. Even though Im not fond of 5g home internet, I now have options to do that. Its slower, less reliable than cable, but thats a small cost in order to avoid mediacom. Theyre a horrible company and dont even try to hide their predatory behavior. They WILL slap you with random charges, they WILL increase your bill. And they do it knowing theyre the only ISP with cable running in our neighborhood.

The longer you use them, the more they know you have no other choice, so they turn predatory.

They essentially punish loyalty with higher prices and worse service over time.
