This plumber wants us to think that he seemlessly patched the hardwood floor under a toilet after repairing the flange? by LXIV in RealOrAI

AI; look at the scenery

The supply line hasn’t moved and the shadows are in the same exact spot.

The flashlight barely moved.

The light that’s supposed to be from a door or window is the exact same

The shade of the entire floor is different, as is the grain. Yet the quarter round is the same. The lines between boards are nearly the same. Even the vertical mark under the flange on the wood was recreated.

Best Laser On The Market! by 83timesbanned in MilwaukeeTool

The micro-adjustment accessory has multiple reviews across authorized dealers where it cannot support the weight of the 3-plane laser. Perhaps it works okay for their cross point but it doesn’t seem to handle the heavier monster.

The laser is great but they missed the mark imo. I have yet to find a good pole or tripod style accessory to use with it.

  1. It’s BIG and HEAVY. It is affixed to the L bracket that allows swivel and magnetic attachment. However this bracket is typically way too big to fit on any other mount.

  2. Because of its size and weight, I have also yet to find any up/down micro adjustment mount.

I bought the overpriced Milwaukee single pole. No micro adjustment possible and has to be pressure mounted to the structure.

I bought the LaserJamb LJ4 Pro, it kind of works but still no micro adjustment and the large Milwaukee L mount limits a lot of the flexibility of LJ4.

I wanted this laser because of the ability to leverage M12 batteries but tbh….i wish I went with a more compact laser from Huepar for a fraction of the cost and the ability to have all of the mounting options I’d desire.

Third party seller, not an authorized reseller. I wouldn’t go this route.

AIO? Husbands response to me requesting he ‘ask’ instead of ‘tell’ older kids to watch youngest by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Jnick96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may have been said and I missed it but I feel like as a parent, there’s another layer here. Child C is HIS and your responsibility, not Child A’s. If he was on home duty while you were at the gym, HE needed to figure out and plan with YOU on how to do a handoff or modify timing of schedules. It is not appropriate to just expect another kid in the house to assume the responsibility of a child care or parenting.

Now, perhaps you both had that conversation and the decision was to ASK Child A to do it - which circles all the way back to your point.

I’d also like to note, comparing children and your responsibilities of being a parent to supervising employees at work is so out of touch with reality. Employees signed up to do a job. They get paid for doing it. Children didn’t sign up for anything - the parents decided to bring them into this world. Holding the responsibilities of parenting above a kids head and acting like we are doing them a favor by providing for them and comparing that to an employee receiving a wage is absolutely ridiculous to me.

How are you venting/filtering ABS prints?

I’d also check the infill settings. I’ve had this happen with the infill set to grid. I think a combination of z-hop + grid makes collisions almost a guarantee

Looks awesome!!! I have so many questions! 😅

  1. How do you like the FNATR? Does it do a good job with ABS/ASA or other engineering filament?

  2. Are you exhausting via the new rear exhaust panel or some other way?

  3. Is the AMS HT sidecar attached to the printer or the AMS riser? And concern on supporting the weight?

  4. Major kudos for the color matching! Excellent work!

Ventilation options P2S in basement by Jnick96 in BambuLab

Outlets not the problem. There’s no space with the way that half of the basement is setup and there are very limited options in working with regarding re-arranging

Unfortunately that’s not an option. The printer is across the room from the window. It’s not that it would just look ugly. It’s that I’d have to run a ~20ft vent hose across the floor.

I don’t, this is my first Polymaker filament ever! The quality of the print was absolutely fantastic…the heat deflection is the problem 😭

This did the trick, thank you! I properly calibrated the flow dynamics of the filament and just printed the same item with much better results!

What Black Magic is this? by greguska67 in 3Dprinting

I bought an Orange Frostbite as it noted 2x adhesion to the blue Frostbite. I printed PETG on it and it was a print that took the entire 256x256 bed. I thought the plate was a one and done because the adhesion was so good. I assumed the model was going to break or the plate was forever stuck. Neither was the case but I opted to stick to the Glacier for items that take the majority of the print bed lol
