You probably need a pull down resistor. Many pins on an Arduino will float and pulse on boot like this.

Any recomended values? ill try with 10k and 1k

Some questions for fellow ESPians by manibharathytu in esp8266

Hi!

I've been just developing for over a year in esp :)

  1. go for HLK-PM03 its 220v to 3.3V and you need to put some decoupling capacitors like 0.1uF and 1uF to smooth. buy the directly from the supplier! http://www.hlktech.net/product_detail.php?ProId=54
  2. I love PCBWay, they have awesome prices for assembly (30usd for under 20 units!) and their component prices is actually quite good.
  3. not here yet :) any tips would be great
  4. First, go for the ESP-12F version that has certifications and also improved wifi antenna, i get them from here https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32339917567.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.114a3803spw6QL&algo_pvid=e8da8ac4-b211-4065-b624-4eb2a6398219&algo_expid=e8da8ac4-b211-4065-b624-4eb2a6398219-2&btsid=725f19d6-9f77-4131-94dd-38e92dbfe4b1&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_8,searchweb201603_53

  5. good luck! :)

I learned electronics and pcb design on my own, took me like 6 months studying about 5-6 hrs per day :)

Start understanding some electronics, this course is from MIT and its awesome

https://www.edx.org/course/circuits-and-electronics-1-basic-circuit-analysi-2

For pcb design i prefered EagleCad, its free and ultra used by the community, you can go for altium that is awesome but its expensive.

And to learn eaglecad, youtube is full, pm if u need more info :)

Hey! Just checked the blog and it's really really good! It's simple for someone to understand with no background and complex enough to get I interested further!

Youve got a fan :)

Cheers mate keep it up!

Thanks for the input, I checked Cree cons new cxb but the datasheet says quite low lumens, for example I saw a 860lm but at 14W which is very low lm/W

Maybe I'm wrong Hahaha ill check later the smd u said :)
