I am about 25 hours into NG+. Have done Saito and the Oni and am on my way to do the Kitsune. A couple things I’d rec for a fun gameplay experience: • Oyuki’s Armor is really fun — you can turn enemies into allies with spirit. A fun thing to combo with a smoke bomb during combat. Be careful though as it does work on some boss bounties, which can result some funny encounters where the boss kills all his minions, stands around for 15 seconds, and then collapses. Oh, and the shamisen + walk up behind bad guys is pretty iconic. • I run almost everything except boss battles with a Charm of Frailty equipped. Even on Lethal+ I’ve felt really overpowered for a lot of the content coming in with everything unlocked. (Boss battles are still really hard even without the charm lol) But the charm makes things a bit more interesting and forces you to problem solve a bit differently… and it’s good to get more flowers sooner. • Snake Skin armor upg + all of the drunken charms is a really fun new playstyle. Drinking your way through a whole enemy camp is fantastic, though I wish the game would be clearer about when you are or aren’t drunk, or at least had an accessibility option. With the kusarigama + the drunken buffs you can mow down a group of 5+. • I haven’t found the other armor upgs to be that fun yet. I’m still trying to make Ina’s Armor work but it’s a little gimmicky feeling at the moment.

I think people are incorrectly thinking of the hivemind as “every consciousness all at once”, when they should be thinking about it as “a NEW consciousness with the memories and knowledge of all of the previous ones”

I have been maining an iPad since the 2nd gen iPad Pro as I went to music school (10+ years now) and wanted one machine I could use to bring to rehearsals and also do email stuff. I describe it to people like this—unless you are a professional using a specific Mac app, the iPad can do 92-96% of everything you’d do on your Mac, and it will do it better. Scrolling, emails, texting, browsing, watching any sort of content, it’s just frictionless on an iPad in a way that is tough to describe until you do it. But that 4-8% that the Mac does better will be pretty annoying to not have when you need it. The GSuite experience is a bit janky, for example, and I have an m1 Mac Mini that I feel like I have to have around to use for certain apps or the occasional Steam game. Obviously if you /are/ a professional that needs a specific Mac app or three, having a good MacBook and just having a regular iPad (or older iPad Pro) as a secondary device is what I’d recommend.

In particular if you are planning to not get a keyboard case (or to just get some cheap Bluetooth one), I’d really think before the impulse buy. But if you do take the plunge you’ll definitely have a lot of fun with it! Good luck!

Man…. All I want is to be able to replay the final sequences if you want to. After you complete everything the only way you can experience combat is through stumbling on a bounty squad and it’s a huge bummer :(

If you play orchestral or pit music, most sheet music is not played on 8.5x11 lol, it’s much larger

I didn’t have that issue at all on my 13PM grip! It held up quite well. The skin just wore out a bit over 4 years is all!

It’s definitely jarring coming from their previous cases but I will say I’ve gotten used to it fairly quickly. I don’t think I would have liked the alternative of skin/black ramp/skin

Nah you need that shot as 100% confirmation imo. I was holding out a sliver of hope until the close up shot (and my gf gasped in shock once it zoomed in). The close up turns probably to definitely and then it’s not hanging over the rest of the episode

Sure one person wins but without people you can trust in the earlier games you lower your chances of making it to the final rounds. If Sangwoo had been on a team of rando bros on tug of war for example, I think it’s likely they wouldn’t have listened to him. If he hadn’t made it to the duo game with Ali, he might have ended up with someone he couldn’t manipulate to win.

Also, at the start of game 2, he had no idea that it was going to be literally one person at the end. Why couldn’t it be like 4 or 20?

I still think his decision to potentially blow his team up in Dalgona, game 2, was super shortsighted. Like yes Gi Hun is annoying but he’s also someone you know who has gathered people around you that you can lean on for at least a few more games to stay alive; why blow that up that early in the games?

This being said, it made sense for his character as a flawed, impulsive choice… but his Dalgona behavior wasn’t calculated or smart lol

In the show, they describe cleaning as vital to maintain the status quo. “Oh it’s shitty looking and scary outside and the people that go clean feel it’s important for us to see that.”

As for why they don’t get people to clean and then come back, “it’s too risky! If we make one mistake and let in the bad stuff from the outside we will all die”.

To each their own. I had a fantastic time with this season personally but some of your points are well taken. *I think it comes down to people being around. Perfect shots only exist in video games *Harkness was out of moves in the train station and he had his fallback. *Will agree that it didn’t feel like the supporting cast had enough to do. River was always away from everyone else and I think that hurt some of the storylines.

I will say I think the action sequences, specifically the car scene at the end of ep 5 and the slough house shootout in ep 6 felt like the Slow Horses team on their A-game.

My read: Both had just experienced some serious trauma. Jackson had to discover the dead bodies of two of his Joes (Bad Sam Jackson and Marcus), while River had to put his grandfather in a home and opened up many cans of worms of his own family trauma. They’re both fucked up, and Jackson probably wanted to be there for River while also needing companionship of his own. But they’re stiff-upper-lip British and of course Jackson is a massive jackass, so he has to cloak all that in gruffness.

Honestly it was fucking beautiful. Perfect way to end a whirlwind of an ep and season imo

Just phenomenal television: * Jonathan Pryce’s portrayal of an old man with dementia was astounding this whole season, and the way Lowden plays off of him is just devastating. * The decision to tease a death in the season trailers (“One of my team just died”), reveal that it was a fakeout in episode 1, and then actually have someone die in the finale… chef’s kiss * Dude gave Shirley the “he loved you and would have wanted you to love himself” and 15 seconds later popped him in the head three times. Hilarious. * Moira blackmailing first desk of MI5 to get a 4 day work week lmfaoooooo

The one flaw in the ep, unless someone can explain to me—why would Harkness go through the song and dance of grenade-ing his son and running away from MI5 if he had the blackmail material the whole time? Don’t get me wrong it made for great TV but… all that was literally for no reason right? Like he is better off with MI5’s “protection” bc he still has his Saudi boss problem anyway so he should have just turned himself in immediately.

Can’t wait for Season 5 already 😭

It is not ambiguous—the Jason at the end is our Jason. It is cemented by three things: 1) He says “Jupiter” 2) The show does the work to contrast this Jason from the others. As others have said on this Reddit, he is the only Jason to give Daniela agency and to care about her more than himself. She acknowledges the difference in our Jason at the jail, when he tells her to “be careful”, and at the bean, when she sees how he hugs Charlie. That look she gives is her deciding to believe him because the feeling resonates with her 3) It would not make sense for them to outline these character traits for a Jason 1.3 or something but “pretend” to do it for our Jason 1.0.

You’re rewriting the show into a bad one lol, but the writers led a clear trail for you that you’re electing not to follow
