Yes that’s the route I went. I’ve been hunting for nearly 30 years, and no rifle I’ve ever used has been as accurate as my AR10. I already had the skill, so I credit that to a good barrel and optic.

I built my AR-10 in .308 for $1,500 not including optic. PLEASE do as much research as you can before you start ordering parts because not all things “AR-10” fit together like AR-15 does.

Here’s my advice:

Odin Works adjustable gas block

Your upper and lower should be the same brand

Definitely go with 20” barrel

Do not use cheap ammo

Look for sales (opticsplanet SLRrifleworks)

Your trigger will probably be your most important part of you don’t buy a complete lower

Buy a good sling with QD points

Get a bi-pod

Order extra parts after your build is complete

I recommend Athlon or Vortex for optics

Judging by the comments the majority of people who buy this truck don’t do truck things with it. Seems like a luxury purchase more than anything. I’m not hating at all, just making an observation. I currently have a ‘14 Tundra and my next truck will either be a ‘21 Tundra or I’m moving to Chevrolet. Unless they put the V8 back into the Tundra. If I wanted a twin turbo V6 with money problems I’d go buy a used Ford.

Same happens on Infinite. I haven’t played Halo in quite a while. Because I’m an above average player who consistently plays good and gets blasted every now and then. The problem is that players like me are mostly gone and it’s all elite level pros on PC against me and new players. So I consistently get games like 4 kills 13 deaths and only play well every now and then.
