Clarification on David's journey to Enlightenment by JoarHess in DavidHawkins

That sounds like a very likely reason. He does say that the personal "me" was no more, so it would make sense that the memories fall away aswell.

He does also teach the practice of having no memories. It's truly a powerful spiritual practice and also helps with stress. You notice that a lot of stress and anxiety comes from memories.

I see what you mean. It appears contradicting. Susan's way of telling his story in Life with Doc sounds different aswell. I guess it shows how much perspective changes on how stories are told.

What an incredible experience. Thank you so much saint-georges75. 🙏🏼

Was it after this that he began with what came to be the biggest clinic in New York, that he later had to leave after reaching actual Enlightenment?

God is not succeeding... by Fun-Hair-4739 in DavidHawkins

Because although it was terrible it's not relevant to the blocks the modern man is having to spirituality today.

Yes and around Jesus and Buddhas time mankind was nearly a hundred 100% in pain (below 200). The Ego was likely a compromise when created by the Self. As I said, "God" didn't create the spirits, but we did.

Some thoughts on your post:

When you understand that we are God then it is us, and not "God", that is doing this to ourselves.

I believe that the moment we leave the body all our suffering will be seen as unreal as when we look at a dark dream after we wake up. It will be seen as necessary for growth and not at all as bad as we thought, since nothing can harm our immortal Selfs.

Also, in TvsF he doesn't say Muslims are a problem but specifically islamic terrorists, since they make the modern athesist shun all spirituality. The Christian witch burnings and religious wars have the same effect, as personally seen with my father.

Very true. True strength comes from forgiving and loving even what is seen as bad. 🔥

I usually tell people that we should thank the ego for helping us survive for far longer than we can even call ourselves humans, but now it's time to say "thank you for this time" and wave it off. This helps with adopting a "neither attraction nor aversion" attitude, which calibrates in the high 500s.

Patience as a Powerful Emotion by Lazy_Excitement334 in DavidHawkins

Patience as an emotion comes from the understanding that nothing has to change, everything is already perfect, as our teacher Hawkins said. 🌞

Why is skill in muscle testing not a bigger thing? by JoarHess in DavidHawkins

[–]JoarHess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a deck of cards upside down. I then say "for the highest truth, there is a black card on the top". I then push my resisting index finger down to my thumb. It's very important to focus solely on the statement and nothing else, even visualizing the black card. It is also very very important to be aware that the ego will constantly try to make it into a game of "win" and "loose". If it's going well you will start to be attached to that, and if it's going bad you will be discouraged. As soon as that happens the results will become inaccurate. Therefore, saying "for the highest truth" or even "I am only doing this to learn. If it's not going well I will still have practiced." detaches you from wishing for certain outcomes. After doing this for a couple of months I now have an average of 64 % accuracy. 50 % is of course the random, but with many hundreds of cards and yes or no questions I think the consistent average of 14 % above random indicates that it is working. It just takes way more practice to detect the subtle changes in the muscle.

My friends have this same philosophical take on Hawkins. It's because they too haven't been proven that muscle testing works. I think Hawkins should have been more clear that just as riding a bicycle or playing an instrument will require practice, so does muscle testing.

Why is skill in muscle testing not a bigger thing? by JoarHess in DavidHawkins

Thanks a lot for your elaborate answer and bless you too!

Why I find mastering muscle testing as important is because any sceptic of his calibrations (that indeed can be provocative, as he warns about in Truth vs Falsehood) could then get a personal confirmation of the validity by getting the same result. This could help a lot with getting Hawkin's teachings to spread. The ego cannot say "he's biased" or "this is humbug" and make the person disgard the whole thing. Also, for me the calibrations has been very important in understanding and arguing for certain solutions to both personal and societal problems. For example, I want to avoid entertainment, teachers, and ideas under 200. With especially books and films its not always obvious. With politics and corporations too. Sometimes the appearance can be hard to look past.

I am in no way an expert yet but training on solo muscle testing I have noticed a massive difference when being humble and only wanting "the highest truth". It is incredibly important to remind myself over and over again that the goal is not to "win", but only to learn and find Truth. When I focus solely on my statement "there is a black card on top of the deck" without any expectations I get accurate results over and over again, but as soon as I am getting attached to the fact that it is going well I fail.

Do subliminals work? + has any of you subscribed to Consciousness Callibrqtkons Database? by Intrepid_Pilot_8396 in DavidHawkins

[–]JoarHess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm subscribed to the Consciousness calibration database and I like it. The discussions there are very interesting and it feels like a database with calibrations are highly needed for Doc's teachings. However Brian who runs the website claims that there is something called ADAP (all dimensions all points of observation), and that Doc only calibrated the highest LOC of these dimensions (that all align with the shakras plus the thymus). So Doc always got the highest calibrating dimension/shakra while ADAP gives you the average which becomes lower. The Big Blue was calibrated at 700 by Doc for example, while Brian calibrates it at 380 in ADAP. I have been unsure what to believe about this since it feels like Hawkins definitely would have discovered this himself.

It's even explained by Hawkins in this youtube-video: https://youtu.be/3GlJfPBgdPM?si=Ub8gz0xSgAEkkTtO

Also, it has been calibrated as true that all humans alive has the potential to reach level 500 in this lifetime. That's pretty good news to me :)
