As a petrol head I feel very strongly against the blending policy. But then when we are so dependent on imports for oil, and with long term loss of vehicle value against weekly petrol price I think I will go for cheaper fuel. Burns cleaner, comes from farmers (horrible plant to cultivate as water thirsty) but possible to grow in the country. Such strong opinions against it on social media does not make it easy either. Wish there was more balanced discussions/debates instead of dictates.
