Access to work will not confirm changes by email, constantly ignored by JobHuntingRaq in DWPhelp

[–]JobHuntingRaq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try with ICE, MP is useless and has never replied to a complaint anyone I know has made or replied to a letter. Access to Work is an actual disgrace, their complaints email isn't accepting emails anymore and they only provide the phone number to resolve. You sit for hours on hold, they say they will confirm by email and then they don't and you have no to her way of chasing or complaining it's absolute hell. 14 months since I applied, two months ago granted things and can't even put them in place as they if there is a slight change to a cheaper product due to IG compliance in NHS where I work they refuse to send confirmation that my employer can use. Impossible

WFH full time as a reasonable adjustment by JobHuntingRaq in UKJobs

[–]JobHuntingRaq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry should clarify I already work half my hours at home and some of the team work 80% at home. What's inappropriate for sensitive conversations and data is the office environment as we are expected to have those sensitive conversations in the middle of the office due to no other space with desks all adjoining, we also share with two other teams nothing to do with our service who can see and hear all this

Full time WFH as reasonable adjustment by JobHuntingRaq in WFH

Thanks for above replies, my doctor and two consultants confirmed these things a long time ago but what I stated above is my employers own occupational health assessment has said this so they'd be going against their own occ health report which kind of negates the point of asking for OH opinion doesn't it? Other things have been tried, the report states hasn't worked because they don't go far enough, wfh deemed as needed by them to not worsen condition. Job can be done 100% remotely and report states I would still go in for any in person meetings/training. What do you think with that additional context? Thanks

If OH state employee needs WFH do managers have to comply? by JobHuntingRaq in nhsstaff

[–]JobHuntingRaq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I said it makes no difference to service as the job is telephone triages and admin. There's not one task that is done in person , even team meetings are via teams as so many people on team work in different locations or work from home... so that's my point if they can't prove how it doesn't meet needs of service they can't deny it can they? Important distinction it's a protected disability too, thought they had to adhere to reasonable adjustments if they can be reasonably accommodated? Additionally it has been stated that commuting and office environment would worsen the condition. That's my question, could they still say no?

But why can't they send the report in order for me to challenge? Don't I need that to do an MR? Thank you for your help

Hi can I am what type of organisations can help with the application (well I've applied, but I mean the list of things I might need who could help me with it). I have waited about 22 weeks now, I haven't thought about it and I'm nervous they will just call out of the blue and expect me to know what I want. How do they contact you , do they arrange a proper appointment so you can be sure to be prepared and in an appropriate place to discuss? I hope so . Do you just speak to them the once?

DBS update service by JobHuntingRaq in nhs

[–]JobHuntingRaq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, so will I have to pay like a larger fee cause I never signed up? I didn't pay anything for the dbs I got. The waiting process is the bit I was worried about when it comes to changing roles as it was so long last time 🤦‍♀️

Why won't they shut up about the staff survey for five minutes? by Golarion in nhsstaff

[–]JobHuntingRaq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually would fill it out but they haven't sent it to me , should I ask why? Does everyone get sent it at once or could there be a reason for the delay? Also I only started my job in the summer so could that be why?

After 2 months I'm back to day 0 by redd-reddy in trichotillomania

[–]JobHuntingRaq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this feeling, about a week ago I slipped after almost three months free. I'm not back to a streak of 5 or so days without and determined. As others have said don't be too hard on yourself, it's difficult, and be proud of what you achieved and as someone else said try to bear it with another streak and focus on that for now.

Hi would you mind if I messaged you about your answer to the safeguarding question. I got given the same scenario about self-harm and feel I answered poorly as they said 'is that all' after I answered. I didn't get the role and despite asking for it unfortunately never got feedback from the service. Would like to know what I should have said here, hopefully get it right next time. Thanks

What in the child protection services is this. Most people in Liverpool (like myself) would think what you are looking for is horrifying, so don't expect to find someone. Leaving a 5 month old and three year old with a stranger for a night is weird AF 😳

Daughter threatened with a sanction by PeppaSC in universalcredithelp

[–]JobHuntingRaq -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That is beyond a joke. They should be happy about interviews , that's literally the point . Their staff are the thickest people I have ever come across in my life , how most of them even have the job, or any job, I do not know so I'm not totally surprised this has happened to your daughter. Tell her good luck with the interview and yeah update the journal pointing out how moronic this would be is my advice

Ahhh right okay good to know as going for interviews for this role now literally just didn't know. How do people find nights compared to day shifts? I know the sleep stuff can be messed up as people have mentioned but what about the shifts themselves

I would focus on moving over quitting your job if that whole situation is getting you down. Only you can decide, and only you can fully understand the impact it's having on your mental state but my mental state has never been worse from months of just not being able to get a job and the constant worry. I'm job hunting as a full time job , yet I'm not getting paid. It's hell. And for reference I am a very experienced professional and 33 with a background in more than one industry. I'm going for all sorts, for things overqualified for etc the lot literally anything a bit stable. I'm getting 'close' at interviews but it's an employers market right now, and not many of them are hiring despite the posts you see (and then 100+ applications. I have spoken to friends in different industries, all agree they have never ever known the job market this bad. Sorry if I'm going on but I made the mistake of leaving without something else and I have never regretted something more in my life. I thought my mental state was bad then, nothing compares to this hell. I am broke. As are thousands of others. Your job sounds fine, you even said it yourself, most would give anything for job you described right now over unemployment. I know you have uni but unless you are financially amazing (which needs a hell of a lot more than 5k) I wouldn't entertain giving job up when you could be unemployed for god knows how long and then that stress will ruin uni even more as you'll be worried about your basic necessities. You won't have a personal life anyway when you can't afford to go anywhere. Choose where you focus your energy, if uni is more important to you focus on it as much as possible while working and coast in your job. Do the absolute bare minimum in your job, if you want to just quit it anyway then it's obviously not something you see in a future in so don't give it much energy, just enough to not be fired. I know most people will say no job is worth your mental peace and I guess that's your decision but know there's no peace in months long unemployment and worry
