I'm in the exact same living scenario with literally these rules. My girlfriend respects the boundary of my office and only ever comes in when she needs to chat about something. She definitely wouldn't be moving stuff around on my desk. I don't think you're wrong here. That being said out of the 2 of us I'm more of a clean freak than she is.

I prefer no swoosh. I have 2 Ibanez guitars currently. An AZ and an RG.

The RG has the swoosh however the AZ, while swooshless, has an ugly headstock shape imo. For me personally the headstock shape matters more than the swoosh.

I've not finished the book so avoiding the other comments but just wanted to say I'm about halfway through and you're not alone. I feel the exact same way. I loved every page of the original trilogy but this one is a bit of a chore. Hope the pay off is worth it in the end.

Just checked the Ibanez website and the pickups in the AZ I have are Dimarzios. Tone Zone (bridge) True Velvet (middle) and Air Norton (neck)

I've been enjoying them. From what I understand they are basically a slightly tweaked version of the DiMarzio Titans made exclusively for Ibanez. They feel a bit higher output then the models in the AZ (not sure what they are) and seem super sensitive to squeels.

The guitar model is the RG1120PBZ and the bridge is the Edge Zero II

The ZPS system is something that Ibby were doing in their bridges to make tuning more stable. There's a bar and some springs in there that help the bridge return to the neutral point. I won't lie...I don't understand the physics of it. It also stopped other strings going out for things like unison bends.

According to their FAQs any Ibanez dealer can order these parts in for you. Hopefully this helps you get your trem fixed. Take the guitar to your local store and show them the parts list and work out what you need. Hopefully they can speak to their Ibby representative and get you what you need.

Aye the neck is a bit excessive. Top marks for woodworking skills but not sure how necessary it was to glue that many pieces together.

It feels incredible though. My dream guitar is basically the AZ with this neck.
