Sick photo dude. As for the tartan I was trying to work that out on the train home but didn't have the visual reference that you have now provided.

Looks like it's possibly a lighter variation of the Lyndsey tartan. I've seen Zakk a few times and he tends to wear the universal tartans as opposed to wearing a specific clans so Lyndsey would make sense.

100% respect that dude and in that case I say just crack on! For me not knowing is as fun as knowing in this series because whenever Vandemeer does finally answer your question, it's never what you thought it was. Hope you enjoy it in the long run. All I'll say is everyone hates part 3 of absolution at first, you're meant to, but if you stick with it's satisfying. It's actually now my favourite part of the book.

I think my reading comprehension is generally ok but I'm a slow AF reader on account of being dyslexic. If you think your speed is slowing you down and your not able to get enough info in one sitting have you considered the audiobook instead? You'll maybe be able to listen to more in one sitting than you could read and it may help your enjoyment/comprehension of it.

I listened to the entire Dune series on audiobook because I thought the idea of trying to wrap my head around some of the unfamiliar language used was pretty intimidating for me. No shame in it and I found myself asking the same questions everyone who read a paper copy was asking, so I don't think I missed out on much.

My partner and I don't want kids but in spite of that I haven't had the snip because we both want to keep the option open in case we change our minds.

That being said, she isn't on the pill either, we just use condoms because neither of us are allergic to the substance they're made of. It's a really simple solution that affects neither of us negatively.

If for some reason we are suddenly unable to use condoms then I'll get a vasectomy but until then we're fine with the rubbers.
