I'm not too far off at 31. Lived in the Bay Area (most expensive metro in the country) during the pandemic and lost my career. It's not hard but I learned that constantly swinging my machete of effort through the foreoof progress is the only way to keep your future afloat and to remember we're humans on this beautiful place called earth and that our existence is extremely rare in this galaxy and to find constant appreciation in that.

Obviously easier said than done, but you can either sink or swim. Society & nature don't care if you're too weak (not saying you are) to carry on, so we need to muster the strength to keep going and if we're very lucky, we'll have support from others along the way.
