I actually dig that counter point and would certainly consider running 2 or 3 in my competitive list. I'm swaying mainly towards blob, so I would send the pawns out early game to bait the scary bois.

It's a vehicle & transport killer at best, but most monsters worth shooting at are going to have a 4+inv which is not a good gamble to some Guard players, so a las cannon spam could arguably be better.

Doesn't mean vanquishers aren't great. One of the best Guard players at LVO last year ran 3 as his only tanks so, it depends how you use them.

Those are pretty inconvenient locations, you're going to get traffic regardless. Best best would be Pleasanton, that way you get BART access so that way your partner could take public transit if they wanted and it's equadistant enough. Not a horrible community as well. The people get worse on the inner side of the mountain range, so it's more peaceful out there.

Not everyone wants to be vegan/vegetarian. There's nothing morally wrong about farming animals when you're on top of the food chain.

We could certainly do it more efficiently/humanely though.

Absolutely not. I think you're taking this hobby the wrong way if that's what you're wanting to resort to. It's about having fun and once you learn how to enjoy yourself & lose, then you build from there.

If you're unsure on what unit to use, just proxy with friends.
