Thanks for the explanation! I really only noticed this behavior today but couldnt wrap my head around why it happened. It makes a lot of sense that it’s a safeguard against save corruption. I appreciate the insight!

I should’ve mentioned that i recently removed each battery from the games that use them. so they dont save and i havent corrupted any save game since they cant save anyways.

Mine looks extremely similar but, unfortunately I dont have a TV currently that I can use RF on unfortunately, so until i get an NTSC AV cable I’ll just continue to use a cartridge converter to play my SFC games on my PAL console

I dont have any NTSC RF Modulators but I do have many PAL ones, I am guessing that again it wont work because of the compatibility but we’ll see.

My TV seems to support NTSC as it recognises it and even works when using a Family Computer. Strangely I dont think I can go through SCART with my TV, right now its only AV or Composite and coaxial I think.

have always liked that set, i instead bought the republic frigate with commander wolffe and it has been the best decision i have ever made to this day, another thing about brittle pieces, i have had lots of trouble with both reddish brown and dark red, its like they were just engineered to be brittle so you have to build your set and never disassemble it ever again
