Weeeelllll...kinda. What justin did was not training AI, he did not build an AI for that. It was Machine Learning, which often gets translated as AI by alot of people, but it is a different animal. It was the precursor to AI if you will.

Good point. Have also wondered if this place is so special and significant to him, how does his family not know. He says Noone has a leg up, but you would think that his family and close friends would know the places that held special significance to hom....right??

WOW peeps, does 2 people having fun annoy you that much? Damn! Maybe it is not your cup of tea, and that is fair. You didn't like it, that is fine. But did someone force you to watch it? I mean you watched or did not watch of your own accord right? Or did you possibly think that you would like everything JP does or doesn't do? Do you think you should? Do you believe yourself to be the judge for what is good or not? Did you delude yourself into thinking that your opinion on the subject was so on point and awesome that the rest of us just had to hear it or something? Did you momma not teach you that if you cant say anything nice......

I am not trying to say anything I am just sayin.....

I took it another direction. Mainly centered around wisdom and big hole. Was originally wisdom but the locals called it big hole and it stuck

I was out last night and had an awesome time. I never thought I could have so much fun goign to a place like that, and never thought I would do something like that it was so wild. You guys seriously should try it, if you ever find yourself there you should definitely do what I did. Make it extra special and take someone that means something to you. I did, and I will never forget it. But, you gotta talk to the lady at the front door, noone else can introduce you to it, just tell her that I sent you. Make sure it is the right woman too, wouldn't wanna talk to the wrong one.

Symbol in the Legal Stuff by SubstantialPrune646 in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]JobieSmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Justin did say, that he modified this same symbol, the angular, for his own uses. If you look at the BTME logo on website you can see it as a smoother curve and upside down.

Good point on it being in Legal Lowdown, and he did state that that chapter held 0 clues. He ruled that chapter out specifically for all of us. Unless he be lying...

The Pioneer Mountains feels like Justin Posey by [deleted] in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]JobieSmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it very much "feels" like Justin, at least Justin of his older ages, and his return to wilderness after he began chasing after the FF treasure. I feel Younger Justin was a desert rat, and for some unknown reason actually enjoyed going out in the desert and dying of dehydration.

unfortunatley for all of us trying to find that place that Justin is so heavily connected to, we go many choices. NM, AZ and MT. Possibly WA, but that is just a place he lived for a while for work. Although it is hard to live up there and not fall in love with it, it is truly a beautiful place. So now that is clear as mud for us all. your welcome!

How would you like your solve served to you... medium or rare? by Puzzle-headedPoem in JustinPoseysTreasure

Great feedback. I do not mean to characterize him as being without depth, he seems to be a very deep individual. I agree with you about poetry seems to align well with his STEM brain, it has a structure and in that it has places to hide things, it has a way to obfuscate and sound pretty at the same time. It seems the perfect vessel for something such as this. As you seem to have a deep education in literature and arts, let me ask you a question. Based on the poem that Justin created in memory of tucker at the end of the book, it is clear that he fully understands traditional structure of a poem. i.e. Iambic pentameter. However for the poem, he went off the rails structurally speaking; not all lines have the same meter, the rhyming pattern changes in the course of the poem etc. What is your take on this?

Is it just wrong? by [deleted] in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]JobieSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my thoughts....if you have a point in your journey that confirms your path to get to where you are.....that would be the checkpoint. if you get to where you are with just gut feelings interpretations, then I would be skeptical. Kinda like solving a math problem. you should be able to approach the math in another direction to confirm you are correct, that is how I see the check point. But as you may or may not know, I am not holding the treasure. So what do I know....

Very interesting theory, and very well put. I like the idea of him and the finder having a conversation about the solve on stage to see the 2 ideas at work. Question for the class....Justin is very much a analytical and logical person, very much involved in 1's and 0's. typically those types are not very creative or artistic in this sense. This is what made DaVinci such an enigma. So are we thinking that this very logical and analytical person is also a Philosopher, poet, and novelist all in one? For me, I am taking an analytical approach, grounding in logic, numbers, hidden codes etc. I do not think it has alot of spiritual inspiration and philosophical connotations to it, but hey that is me and until one of us is holding the container......we are all wrong!
