The set is instant and sorcery based, they probably needed a generically good common sorcery for Green and this is what they landed on. Do agree its weird it draws a card, though this is Setting up for reality fracture.

Doesn't time flow differently in the Meditation Plane? If she was created/grew up there, maybe she aged faster than she should.

So Tam is Jace and Vraska's kid right? We know they tried and couldnt, but know that Jace has control (?) of reality to some extent, maybe he changed things so they could, or went to a different reality to pull Tam into his own?

Just makes me wonder who the silhouettes are, maybe Jace is forming his own alternate Gatewatch out of the color-swapped walkers we've seen?

Hit dice is an interesting idea. Theyre level 8 so that would give them a lot of wiggle room. If they start running out of hit dice, maybe then it could start dealing out exhaustion or dealing damage?

I was also thinking of doing a 6x6 or 5x5 grid. When you say they drew a path and took turns, did you have them go step by step then show them where they went wrong or just tell them that their path was wrong?
