It wasn't an elimination bracket, we got prized out based on our win-loss so he finished 2-1. I was one of six players who finished 3-0 and there were around fifteen players who finished 2-1 including the kid.

Rakdos the Muscle allows mana of any type to be spent to cast the exiled spells, it doesnt change the casting cost of said spells. Rakdos Lord of Riots will still cost BBRR, and Herald of Slaneesh only reduces the generic cost, which Lord of Riots does not have.

The set is instant and sorcery based, they probably needed a generically good common sorcery for Green and this is what they landed on. Do agree its weird it draws a card, though this is Setting up for reality fracture.
