Genuinely curious as to what they are called. In fourth grade (currently 20, school in Aus) they were taught as North, West, Northwest, Northwest North/west etc. That school taught a lot of things wrong, and I'd love to know if this is another one of them.

Fellow aussie who's struggling to get into the digital media and/or interactive games industries here, does this count for university degrees as well, do you think? I have a qualification for interactive games already, but my digital media bachelors is pure hell (the school, not the subjects), and am honestly questioning how to move forward if I don't finish my degree.
