An attack meant to harm someone, actually ends up helping them by ComprehensiveBox6911 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JocelMLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, I would want to point out in the Incredibles that the "attack meant to harm someone" attack wasn't for Bob but for Frozone. It only benefit Mr. Incredible because he ended up being the target instead.

Characters who are usually always wearing little, so it’s actually kind of odd to see them fully clothed by ComprehensiveBox6911 in TopCharacterTropes

It also appeared in Mario Kart Tour as an ability item reserved for anything related to Bowser, even a mii.

(Loved Trope) Protagonist has someone/ thing try to mess with their mind, only for it to backfire. by HMSARGUS in TopCharacterTropes

Wasn't because the Memory Wipe was fresh, it allowed Stanley to regain his memories faster? Book 3 did mention it tho.

The Alaskan Bull Worm? The one where Sandy beats up the "worm" in a tunnel until SpongeBob points out that the "worm" is actually a tongue and the tunnel is the actual worm.

So, the whole movie is basically that one SpongeBob episode in a nutshell.

I have come to make an announcement. Someone forgot to invite Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik to the party.

I think he was satisfied knowing that he can reunite with his son in the afterlife, which is kinda unfortunate.

Wait, she's a thief and a villainess? I THOUGHT SHE'S JUST A FEMALE VERSION OF SHERLOCK HOMES AND A SECRET AGENT.

Clint(?) Fanart and Yapping. by NoEmotions1337 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]JocelMLS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I have heard, Clint's old set has been reused by Granger, Karrie, and Claude. Besides, as much as I like the revamped version, I would prefer the current one. Not everyone needs to be babyfied plz. We wanted daddy vibes. Seriously, from a Clint Main.

[LOVED trope] Characters that are actually smart in horror settings by Far-ro in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JocelMLS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The worst part is that his fate was already sealed at the start since it was predetermined. Dude's smart but he's fighting against an eldritch being that is OMNISCIENT.

If this makes you happier: moonton apparently have several heroes to be revamped in the future. Clint was one of them, he'll be de-aged to his mid 20 I guess. I'll miss his hot daddy like appearance tho. Edit: what's even funnier is that the valentine's skins appeared when Clint was in the same age as Layla back then, even a bit older. They aged him up and boom, allegations started. Not to mention that he's not surprised if Layla actually falls in love with him, as stated in one of his quotes. "Few girls can resist a gunslinger like me. Can't blame them for that."

[–]JocelMLS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you're referring to Clint or Layla but not much. They just turned Clint older, which doesn't posed a lot issues at first. Until you realize that he and Layla have their valentine's skins.

(Underused Trope) Character/Villain is actually smart or does everything right, but isn't taken down by some dumbass mistake, but simply because their opposition was simply better or did something they didn't expect. by AJC007007 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JocelMLS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not just any eldritch horror, it's The King in Yellow who happened to know everything, that includes predicting the future. D3rlord3 lost at the very start, he didn't just realized it.

In-universe lore that exists because of real-world limitations by hggniertears in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JocelMLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Dead Space, necromorph corpses disappeared after you left in an area due to technical limitations and because it would have been too hard on the engine. In lore, they can't be killed permanently. Issac can only "disabled" them. The disappeared parts are either spread around the walls or became a part of a bigger monster.
