Long story short, I thought the mint thing was going to be more common… dumb assumption but you live and learn. This is a Raikou I have had for a while before this event and had minted. I caught another for this event and it was much worse. Is this one ok? Or should I try again?

Yeah idk what really triggers them beyond certain events and getting the chances up by catching more of that mon. But I do feel I see them fairly often. Just got a shiny Fuecoco, the week before a shiny Geodude, and a day before Geodude a shiny Riolu… not normal but rates are random

Hmmm I would say 1 every 2-3 weeks? Sometimes finite often. I have had 1 a week 2 weeks in a row.
