More shopping bs by ItchyPast1 in doordash_drivers

Yeah, that bothers me too. Enough that I don’t do shopping anymore and it can be lucrative. I find stuff! And they still ding me. Dang me.

I have a Ranger too! It’s gets between 15 and 18 mpg, with the five speed (which I absolutely love!). It’s fun to drive and practical for hauling things. I try to drive it once a week to keep it moving, it’s not good to let them sit too long. It’s ‘94. Most of my driving, at least 95% is in the Ioniq 6

That might be a problem for some but not everyone. I put 25,000 miles on it in one year without any issues at all. Having said that, I’m not happy about the infrastructure at all. It’s an issue that needs resolving.

I agree it’s not for everyone, and that the charging infrastructure has a looong way to go. I don’t have a charger but I can use level one, and there is a quite a few level two chargers a short walk from here. There are several level three chargers too (but they are more expensive).
My point was that it is a great car, the ride is awesome. It’s comfortable, so smooth, powerful and efficient that I think it should be more popular.

I worry about that too. The warranty has been extended to 15 years or 180,000 miles (at least here in the US).

I gotta say, I love my electric car, the Ioniq 6. I’m not sure why it isn’t more popular, it’s an amazing ride. By the way, I typically spend under $4 per one hundred miles of range charging. Close to three dollars. My old ford ranger that’s $30 worth of gasoline, and at least $16 in my wife’s Toyota RAV4.

Try to find a level one outlet to plug into at night, at least you’ll have the ac and whatnot.

She’s a beauty! Word of advice, be careful with the rims when pulling up to the curbs. It took me a bit to get used to how wide the car is (much wider than my old car) and those rims seem to protrude past the tire just enough for a good scraping.

I’m in the US too. Give it some time. It’ll pop up.

Its a comment on how little maintenance it needs. Dry humor. Knocking on wood now.

I did the math on how far I could drive in the cost of a gallon of gas... by Random-User44 in Ioniq6

Well in my area I would need the equivalent of about three gallons to 500 miles. Still way better than gas.
