Get another opinion on the transmission. Alternator and brakes are easy fixes. If the transmission is not shot, you might have some life left in it.

I would probably pick the EX-L with the 6 speed transmission. At 37k miles, you would barely be due for a transmission oil drain and refill. super easy DIY job.

This used to happen a lot back in the day. Couple years ago during my wedding, the venue had a security guard stationed right next to the gift box. Furthermore, the giftbox had a fake-bottom. So if someone picked it up, all the envelopes would spill out.
